So, I am finally starting to feel a bit better. I started to feel sick last Tuesday, and from there on it went into some full-blown extreme illness. I actually think I might have pneumonia again but refuse to see the doctor yet.

1. Because I hate having to go for chest x-rays. So uncool.
2. I hate taking those monster pills. Not only are they hard to swallow due to the sore throat action, they also hurt the stomach!
3. I just hate admitting that I am actually sick.

Today was the first day in a week that I actually put a smidge of effort into putting on make-up. I even prepped my nails, so, again, hopefully sometime during the day tomorrow (err.. later today) I will do my nails! Hopefully I won't have to sneeze, cough or blow my nose long enough to do a design. I have been mapping out designs I want to paint for about a week now. Dorkface I know.

I will actually share what I plan to do so that this isn't a totally lame post (although I don't think anyone really knows of me, yet ;p)

Sorry.. Just a quick 2-min sketch. Haven't decided on purple or pink for the line action, but basically that is what I am going with!

Anyways, I should go get some snooze time in. Later!

Grungey Leopard Nails

Hey everyone!

Today I have some grungey leopard print nails for you.. I had a different direction I had wanted to go in last night, but then ended up with this. Not disappointed.

I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base CoatButter London High TeaOrly Liquid VinylSally Hansen Terra-CoppaAcetoneBrushDotting ToolSeche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
I did two coats of the base colour (High Tea), then I was adding "splatter" prints with black (Liquid Vinyl) but felt they were too perfect.. so.. I decided to douse them with some acetone.. then.. I just decided to "smoke" them out.. which made the nails look grungey. But. This is me. I couldn't stop there. I decided to make dots (Terra-Coppa) throughout the smokey black, then make it into leopard print. Love.

That is all for today - see you all again soon!

Black Marble (sort of).

Hey everyone!

-Insert gratuitous reasoning(s) of why I have been away-

Ok, now that that is out of the way, hi!

I just realized I still have a couple post photos stocked up. Sigh. I haven't even uploaded all that is currently living on my camera. The fear is real.

That is for another day. Mayhaps this weekend.

Until then.

I think I said it at some point on my blog, but I feel like 2017 is going to be the year that I constantly do faux marble nails. Note: not watermarbling. I have given in to that failed activity far too many times.

No, I mean the classy kind of marble. You know.

This time, I did it in reverse, because, why not?

 It counts, right?

Ugh. I love it.

Cobalt Blue + Copper Stars

Hey everyone!

Just going to toss up a few posts in the next few days, as I have some backlogged posts..

This was a look using some cobalt blue polish - a friend had sent me a photo of some nails using a similar shade, and I needed to have that colour on asap.. this was the result.
