Dee's Polish

After I took off the little 'Frenchy Bow' polish, I wanted bows on my fingers again.. But different.. So 'Stitched Bows' came into play. They kind of look more like scissors though.. ohhh well! I might even do something different tonight. I am leaving tomorrow morning for the weekend, and maybe something simple will be best. I will have to see how tired I am after the movie! Hope everyone will have an awesome weekend!! Keep your fingers crossed for my brother.. I want him to make this hockey team!!

80s Music = love. This song is by WHAM! and is a smile enducer! Sorry I have disappeared for a bit. I am having some strange issues with.. well.. everything. I am tired all the time (even with 12+ hours of sleep).. This happens once every few years, but usually lasts like a day or three with extreme exhaustion.. This has been going on for about two weeks. Blah. No one is here for a health update though eh! On to the nail-age. I had been lazy in my absence.. We had a cat staying with us for just under a week, and that drives the rabbits nuts and he cannot go into the basement.. etc. I will share a photo of the cat and of the only male rabbit in the house that stands on guard as soon as the cat enters the house. Nails first though! I followed this video tutorial.. Well, not really followed it.. I just used it for inspiration. I had done something like this years ago.. Huh.. To narrow it down is pretty much illegal.. I will go with polishes that I own that have very little left.. Here goes.. First off I will go with OPI Alpine Snow. I am currently working on my second bottle of it. I love doing my nails half one colour half white with polka dots.. Or.. Well, I even have nail art pens in white, but I usually just use a skinny brush with Alpine Snow anyways.. I absolutely adore it.. And if you're just looking for an attention getting white for manicures, this would be it! Next would be China Glaze Rich & Famous. I absolutely adore this pink! I originally bought the set of pinks because it was to raise funds for Breast Cancer that is something that I am absolutely terrified of. I basically started collecting polish at the time I ordered that set and was soooo happy to receive this gem! I think I have a smidge less than a half left.. And I will probably replace.. Because although I have a ton of pink polishes, none of them get the same attention

By The Romantics.. My love of 80s music comes out again! I have had some serious trouble with typing lately.. So if there are a ton of mistakes in this bad boy, I apologize in advance!! So, my last "manicure" only made it through one day.. I traded to work in the dishpit and ruined two nails in the process. I own two pairs of shoes, 2 shirts, 1 camisole, 1 bag, my makeup kit and various other articles in black and white dots.. So why not do something like that on my nails? Plus I had a managing shift and it looks some what sophisticated (I am rational.. seeee?) And this is my take:

By Oasis... Another sigh-worthy song. I absolutely love this song - I sing it quite often, haha! This weekend has been extra awesome! Friday night the 'crew' from work decided to have a bowling night.. We didn't have as many people as usual - but we had some old favourites show up.. Plus added drama at the bowling alley - who knew eh? That all was really great, but what tops that is that one of my good friends and co-workers returned from her 3 month work stint in Victoria, BC. So happy to have her home! It was great to spend hours with her before we went bowling, but what was even more awesome was that she was really excited to give me a gift (ok, my sister and I!).. By Brokencyde. I found this band by a friend telling me to listen to this 'guilty pleasure' song called "Bree, Bree" by this band.. They are obnoxious/rude, crass and strange.. Which is probably why I enjoy their songs on rare occasions. Screaming is a plus. OK! So, I said I would keep everyone updated on that Dead Sea spa care package.. I have been doing such a bad job of that. I mentioned it on July 20 and it is now August 7 (AYE! Time flies!).. Anyways, I have been using the system faithfully everytime I have a few days off of work thus giving my nails time to breathe between polish action. I sadly haven't noticed the yellowing disappearing except for when I cut off the growth of my nails, which thankfully grow fast. I am beginning to wonder if it wasn't nail polish that stained my nails but something else.. It is weird because sometimes I SWEAR the yellowness is gone.. Then a few hours or a day later it is back (probably just lighting.. I like to pretend t
