True Love

By Brokencyde. I found this band by a friend telling me to listen to this 'guilty pleasure' song called "Bree, Bree" by this band.. They are obnoxious/rude, crass and strange.. Which is probably why I enjoy their songs on rare occasions. Screaming is a plus.

OK! So, I said I would keep everyone updated on that Dead Sea spa care package.. I have been doing such a bad job of that. I mentioned it on July 20 and it is now August 7 (AYE! Time flies!)..

Anyways, I have been using the system faithfully everytime I have a few days off of work thus giving my nails time to breathe between polish action. I sadly haven't noticed the yellowing disappearing except for when I cut off the growth of my nails, which thankfully grow fast.

I am beginning to wonder if it wasn't nail polish that stained my nails but something else.. It is weird because sometimes I SWEAR the yellowness is gone.. Then a few hours or a day later it is back (probably just lighting.. I like to pretend to believe otherwise though!)

The reason I keep using this stuff though is that the cuticle cream is AH-MA-ZING.. Plus paired with the lotion (which somehow my super sensitive skin accepts, yay!) your hands just feel awesome!! Plus I like the buffing system on the nails, makes them smooth and polish application is just great!

Ok.. Enough blabber eh!

I just think that yellow nails comes with the territory. I don't think anyone has found a product to remove yellowing. The only was I got rid of my yellow nails was cutting all my nails short. Then I left the polish off for about three months. Yellow gone! Boring! I'll just keep my nails polished and cover up the yellow. I can understand the insomnia. I can be found at the computer day or night. People get very annoyed with me because they can never call me because I might be asleep. I say good to that, more computer and me time.

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!! Yaaaay! I am really excited to do this for all of you! I really appreciate all of you following me and commenting on my posts - it is amazing! So, I figured it was time to give back a bit. Now, this isn't a monster giveaway that I want to do - that will come sometime later. I have it all planned in my mind - BUT - until then, you'll have to put up with this! I picked up 3 polishes from the new Revlon collection the other day and really wanted to grab extras to giveaway, but the store was sold out of one of the colours after I bought it, and so, that thought was quickly squashed. Then, this evening, I ran in to another shop quickly - and they had a whole wealth of them - bingo! Giveaway time! The colours are: Starry Pink, Blue Mosaic & Facets of Fuchsia Supposedly FoF is a DL Bad Romance dupe. Sadly, I do not own that polish (I really, really wish I did) - but this polish is stunning - in fact, they all are! Thi
