The Grace

Byyyy Neverending White Lights featuring Dallas Green.. Even though the song seems saddish, it actually makes me feel a whole lot better when I listen to it - enjoy!

SO! I finally made it back to work this weekend! Yay! To celebrate, on Friday night, I did my nails.. And I was really excited about them because I knew they would make it through the weekend.. WRONG! I thought I was going to setting tables and such this weekend, but I was actually on dishes. Ugh. Wasted.. This was after day uno in the dishpit.. Sorry they look terrible, I should have photographed them the night before.

I watched the tutorial posted by the very talented julieg713 - click her name to check it out!

Anyways.. That is it for now.. I am going to go tidy up the house and bake some goodies. Finally get to have our 'Gossip Girl' night again!

Have a magnificent Monday!!

Love your plaid manicure. Very cute. Still looks pretty good after all that you had to do.

Grungey Leopard Nails

Hey everyone!

Today I have some grungey leopard print nails for you.. I had a different direction I had wanted to go in last night, but then ended up with this. Not disappointed.

I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base CoatButter London High TeaOrly Liquid VinylSally Hansen Terra-CoppaAcetoneBrushDotting ToolSeche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
I did two coats of the base colour (High Tea), then I was adding "splatter" prints with black (Liquid Vinyl) but felt they were too perfect.. so.. I decided to douse them with some acetone.. then.. I just decided to "smoke" them out.. which made the nails look grungey. But. This is me. I couldn't stop there. I decided to make dots (Terra-Coppa) throughout the smokey black, then make it into leopard print. Love.

That is all for today - see you all again soon!

Black Marble (sort of).

Hey everyone!

-Insert gratuitous reasoning(s) of why I have been away-

Ok, now that that is out of the way, hi!

I just realized I still have a couple post photos stocked up. Sigh. I haven't even uploaded all that is currently living on my camera. The fear is real.

That is for another day. Mayhaps this weekend.

Until then.

I think I said it at some point on my blog, but I feel like 2017 is going to be the year that I constantly do faux marble nails. Note: not watermarbling. I have given in to that failed activity far too many times.

No, I mean the classy kind of marble. You know.

This time, I did it in reverse, because, why not?

 It counts, right?

Ugh. I love it.

Cobalt Blue + Copper Stars

Hey everyone!

Just going to toss up a few posts in the next few days, as I have some backlogged posts..

This was a look using some cobalt blue polish - a friend had sent me a photo of some nails using a similar shade, and I needed to have that colour on asap.. this was the result.
