Heartbreak Hotel

Byyy Mr. Elvis Presley. Ohh.. And if you want to hear the song, click to play on the side.. I decided that for now I will keep it off of autoplay.. (I had a incident the other day.. I usually have my volume up high from gaming or listening to tunes.. ANYWAYS.. I went to some random site and my ear drums were blasted with some random screamo/metal song *not that I am complaining..* but I would hate for someone to come on here with their volumes cranked and get an ear full!)

After 5:30am.. Everyone else is fast asleep.. and I cannot get there.. grrr! Ahh well, why not make a quickie post then eh?

I forgot to snap a quick photo of what I used, but it was CG Liquid Leather with CG OMG applied with a trusty bobby pin..

I assure you all they do look better in real life!! They were actually a coverup because I made a fail-attempt at using lace. I will give it another go some day though!!

Oh.. Remember this oaf? The good ol' Rick James has been with us since Wednesday evening. I decided on Friday to tidy up my sisters bed area as well as my room, etc.. I usually grab a large shopping bag to fill with junk I have accumulated since the last cleaning.. He must have thought he was being helpful..

What a punk!! Ahh well.. He is probably going back home either tomorrow or Wednesday.. Cannot remember! Anyways, I hope everyone out there will have a tremendous Tuesday.. I am going to head to my bed and read some more 'Fight Club'. G'night/day :D

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Dry Marble Technique

Hey everyone! Yes.. Dry marble technique.. well.. technically I am water marbling, but allowing the polish to "dry" on the water.. then using it as a nail decal. Does that sound confusing? It might. But. I think this will be my next video. It is actually a lot of fun to do. And while I think this first attempt is grand, it could be better. I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Sally Hansen Bubblegum Pink Sally Hansen  Babe Blue Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow Water Dotting Tool Bowl Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I will probably film a video for this within the next week - so I will post up that gem soon. Or, there are probably a wealth online for you to look up in the mean time. Super fun technique without all the hassle of legit water marbling. See you all again soon!

Splatter Floral Nails

Hey everyone! Last night, after I did these nails and when I went to bed - I was quite pleased with my nails. When I woke up this morning, though, I wasn't overly crazy about them. I thought of a few things I could change so that I would really like them.. I am very tempted to take how I want them to look and recreate them before work.. I might just have to do it. Anyways! Really, there is nothing wrong with them.. I just sort of find them.. boring? Ah well! I used: Lime Crime Milky Ways China Glaze White On White OPI My Favourite Ornament China Glaze Highlight Of My Summer China Glaze Sweet Hook OPI Mod About You Formula X For Sephora Infatuated Orly Liquid Vinyl China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I made the roses with a "main" colour and white, then I did the details with the "main" colour and black mixed together. Again, I don't dislike these bad boys.. I am just not amazed by them! Also.. did you
