Quuuuuick post! I just wanted to post something up so everyone didn't think I abandoned them! I don't even have an excuse.. I think I have just been lazy.

Yesterday the mother and I went to do some errands (aka finish collecting gifts to give to the dad.. his birthday is.. today! woo!) One of the first stops was to the Chatters supply shop.. Which is always fun.. It was buy two products, get the third half off.. I of course ran over to the nail polish stand.. And saw they had the Up and Away collection there.. There were 3 I wanted badly, I only nabbed 2.. They didn't have Re-Fresh Mint *tear*.. Then instead of grabbing a third polish, I grabbed Redken Guts instead.

Thhhheeeennnn.. One of the last stops was London Drugs.. I haven't been there in forever.. So of course I scuttled over to the makeup section.. And then into the nail polish aisle. Nothing really appealed to me, which was good because I didn't really want to buy anymore polish (my family is starting to notice how large the collection is becoming..) Go over to the other side of the aisle.. Nail tools, etc, no big deal.. Start walking away.. 'Oh, neat, Seche Vite..' keep walking.. 'SECHE VITE?!' I have been waiting to compile another TD order to get it.. But it was there!! Well, I didn't see the top coat at first, they had everything else.. I was panicking.. Once I told myself to take a deep breath and calmly look I found what I wanted. YAY! I am super pumped about this. After all the amazing things I have heard, this is held in high regard to me. And I know my blogger ladies would not let me down!!

  I used CG Lemon Fizz with CG OMG konaded over, but only I could tell.. So I grabbed my Art Deco in glittery black.. 

Sorry, my camera and lighting hates me so. This looks like SH Lightning to me, but I swear it is still Lemon Fizz. I really like this actually. I keep looking at my fingers.

Now just for fun, I am going to add some updated snaps of the degus.. As soon as I was coming over here to upload photos, they started squawking at me.

Bennie is the dominant in the pair. He isn't afraid of anything. Including a camera. He perches on my hand for a bit, then runs up my arm and relaxes on my shoulders.. He is so cute.

Jet is really timid, but still lovely. The other night I almost started crying.. with joy.. He actually climbed up my arm and perched on my shoulders as well. My little boys are so cute. 

I will have to get some photos during a dust bath for all of you! That is the best.

Have a tremendous Thursday ladies! I have to run out and pick up the cake for the dad.. Then it is a Chinese food supper. I cannot wait to give him his gifts, but my favourite thing is giving him his card. For.. I cannot even tell you how many years now, I have made cards for him (with help from the sibs) we basically superimpose his face on to various characters. He has kept them all. I love that!

• Tierney - Thankies doll! You totally should.. I really need practice.. But hey, I'm trying! Ugh, I am the worst for that.. OR I am just really bad at buying people gifts, it is terrible! And at least those shoes were on sale, totally makes up for it (: And thank you! I think he is going to have a pretty good birthday!!

• susies1955 - You're very welcome! A polish rack? Huh.. I think once I am out on my own I will do that.. For now I kind of hide them away so my family doesn't see how many polishes I have acquired!!
• shortnails - Good ol Zellers, something you can find really great deals there! I will watch out for their polish sales! I will have to pick up that white art deco.. Most of the dollar stores here are lame.. I do go back to Regina next month, they have a dollar tree there, might have to investigate! My nails used to peel.. Then I started using SH Hard As Nails and haven't had the problem again!
