I'm Home

I really shouldn't be posting this right now.. I should be upstairs sprawled out awaiting bedtime.. but I just wanted to sprint (ok.. slowly walk down the stairs) and let all you lovely people know that I made it through my surgery a-ok!

I am extremely sore.. Weak.. slow.. Cry randomly, etc, but I am home! I even survived the 2.5 hour car ride (ok.. I slept for 98% of it..)

I will try to maybe do my nails this weekend and have something for Monday.. Plus I have a million blogs to look through! Phew!

Have a wonderful evening everyone! I am about ready to pass out!!

I hope you get the rest you need and begin to feel better -

The Billie polish is the same in my town, it is very random and only comes in stock once every 2 to 3 months.... so i play the waiting game with it and am sometimes disappointed too.

Take care and get better.

Grungey Leopard Nails

Hey everyone!

Today I have some grungey leopard print nails for you.. I had a different direction I had wanted to go in last night, but then ended up with this. Not disappointed.

I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base CoatButter London High TeaOrly Liquid VinylSally Hansen Terra-CoppaAcetoneBrushDotting ToolSeche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
I did two coats of the base colour (High Tea), then I was adding "splatter" prints with black (Liquid Vinyl) but felt they were too perfect.. so.. I decided to douse them with some acetone.. then.. I just decided to "smoke" them out.. which made the nails look grungey. But. This is me. I couldn't stop there. I decided to make dots (Terra-Coppa) throughout the smokey black, then make it into leopard print. Love.

That is all for today - see you all again soon!

Black Marble (sort of).

Hey everyone!

-Insert gratuitous reasoning(s) of why I have been away-

Ok, now that that is out of the way, hi!

I just realized I still have a couple post photos stocked up. Sigh. I haven't even uploaded all that is currently living on my camera. The fear is real.

That is for another day. Mayhaps this weekend.

Until then.

I think I said it at some point on my blog, but I feel like 2017 is going to be the year that I constantly do faux marble nails. Note: not watermarbling. I have given in to that failed activity far too many times.

No, I mean the classy kind of marble. You know.

This time, I did it in reverse, because, why not?

 It counts, right?

Ugh. I love it.

Cobalt Blue + Copper Stars

Hey everyone!

Just going to toss up a few posts in the next few days, as I have some backlogged posts..

This was a look using some cobalt blue polish - a friend had sent me a photo of some nails using a similar shade, and I needed to have that colour on asap.. this was the result.
