This evening, after I returned home from a friends house, I came to the computer desk and looked over at the goodies that had been sent to me. Then, an idea formed. Sure, I don't want to take off my current mani, so why not bust out the fake nails and go to town?

Perfect.

First, the C/Krackle polish. Love. It. I am actually going to take off my 5 point flower mani tomorrow (after running a bunch of errands) and slap this on. I might even use the same colours. I didn't add the thumb in as it just didn't work. I am not sure if it is because I used a glitter polish or what - but I will work on that! After they were done crackling, I topped it with Seche Vite. I am really excited to do this to my own nails!

Then we have an attempt at Cheetah print.. I think I am starting to maybe get the hang of it? Although, despite what I am saying, I actually kind of love this. I used CG II as the base, then used my new love, dotting tool, along with OPI OPI & Apple Pie. Then I added the orange coloured rhinestones for some.. dimension!

Ok, so, this look was probably the most disappointing to me. I just couldn't get the pearls to go where I wanted and my bows are a bit wonky.. And adding the glitter was.. Well, anyways! I used OPI A Shorts Story followed by Street Wear Glitter. Then I used some of the pearls for the middle of the bow. Cute idea, I just need to execute it better!!

Now something that I wasn't enjoying while painting it, but then loved it afterward.. Started off with OPI Ogre-The-Top Blue (which I am disappointed that I have never used before!!!) followed with some sections of Orly Halleys Comet. Then I went rhinestone crazy..

So, that is it for now.. I just bought Essie Little Brown Dress and am kind of dying to test it out! I think I just might have to do that!

I hope everyone has an amazing Friday night and a great weekend (:

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Revlon Giveaway

GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!! Yaaaay! I am really excited to do this for all of you! I really appreciate all of you following me and commenting on my posts - it is amazing! So, I figured it was time to give back a bit. Now, this isn't a monster giveaway that I want to do - that will come sometime later. I have it all planned in my mind - BUT - until then, you'll have to put up with this! I picked up 3 polishes from the new Revlon collection the other day and really wanted to grab extras to giveaway, but the store was sold out of one of the colours after I bought it, and so, that thought was quickly squashed. Then, this evening, I ran in to another shop quickly - and they had a whole wealth of them - bingo! Giveaway time! The colours are: Starry Pink, Blue Mosaic & Facets of Fuchsia Supposedly FoF is a DL Bad Romance dupe. Sadly, I do not own that polish (I really, really wish I did) - but this polish is stunning - in fact, they all are! Thi
