Scribbled Paint

That is what I think about when I see this image plate used..

I was feeling a bit lazy the other day.. That and I had about 30 minutes until it was errand running time.. BUT! I had naked nails. I do not like that.

I had Little Drummer Boy still sitting at the desk.. So I slapped on some of that.. Then sprinted to the collection area and nabbed Adore and an image plate.

Sorry for the messy photo. I took another photo two days later, but there is some chipping on my index nail. What I am excited about is that I have been working a bit more on the light box. The polish bottle photo is using the improved box. I haven't perfect my camera settings to it yet.. And I am not sure if I like the lamp/light YET, but I don't want to correct things too much to this camera as my Christmas gift to myself will be a new camera. This bad boy is just over 3 years old. He has served his purpose!

Oh, the colours used are: CG Little Drummer Boy & CG Adore stamped with konad image plate m70.

I was procrastinating cleaning up my room and or computer desk.. Get started.. Then decide to do this post instead. Now I start back at work tomorrow.. Gee.. I guess this cleaning will have to wait until next week (;

Have an excellent weekend everyone! Yay for staff Christmas party tomorrow!! I might have to do my nails up.. But we are going bowling.. hmm.. tough call!!

  • Zara - They were pretty great! Sadly I didn't get any photos of them.. I waited til the next day AFTER work, and they were chipped everywhere. It was still fun for a day!!
  • KarenD - Haha glad I am not the only one that thought they could be similar! Now I am just glad that I second guessed my second guess (a third guess?) and bought it anyways.
  • Lois - I am really glad I have both!! And I know, I am seriously the worst for that!!
  • shortwidenails - Haha, I so should have! Then maybe it would have gone differently :( I don't think I have anything that can dupe anything else I have.. I am just starting to work on getting photos of all my polish.. So I guess we'll see in a bit. I'm nervous about having dupes.. Then I will just be angry with myself! Even angrier if I have been using both and not noticing as well (;

muwahahaha. bowling + nice nails. I guess if you concentrated very hard on protecting your nails..but then you wouldn't have fun at all.

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Revlon Giveaway

GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!! Yaaaay! I am really excited to do this for all of you! I really appreciate all of you following me and commenting on my posts - it is amazing! So, I figured it was time to give back a bit. Now, this isn't a monster giveaway that I want to do - that will come sometime later. I have it all planned in my mind - BUT - until then, you'll have to put up with this! I picked up 3 polishes from the new Revlon collection the other day and really wanted to grab extras to giveaway, but the store was sold out of one of the colours after I bought it, and so, that thought was quickly squashed. Then, this evening, I ran in to another shop quickly - and they had a whole wealth of them - bingo! Giveaway time! The colours are: Starry Pink, Blue Mosaic & Facets of Fuchsia Supposedly FoF is a DL Bad Romance dupe. Sadly, I do not own that polish (I really, really wish I did) - but this polish is stunning - in fact, they all are! Thi
