Cheetah Madness

Cheetah/Leopard print items are EVERYWHERE lately.. And I for one, really, really, like the trend. Although I am not sure why as zebra print has always been my go to (love me blacks and whites!)

I think I finally was able to replicate a cheetah print that I.. well, like. I was looking on WAH Nails and saw this Fan Submission and LOVED it! The image instantly went to my inspiration folder and I could not stop thinking about it.

So, to help ease my troubled mind, I used the image and came up with these bad boys:

I used: CC High Society, CG Ingrid, Sally Hansen nail art pen and a dotting tool (which was sent to me for review from Born Pretty)

I am a touch disappointed in myself for not trying out either of these polishes before as I really am quite fond of both!! They are lovely!!

Ugh. Of course I would choose to blog when I have to run - I will answer comments next time! Take care everyone!!

Very lovely. I love the color choice. Not too bold.

could u please take a picture of the Sally Hansen nail art pen tip? I would love to know how thick it is and what does it look like. like a pointy tip? or a slanted highlighter tip? I think i may have to purchase it..I wonder if they have it in white too

Grungey Leopard Nails

Hey everyone!

Today I have some grungey leopard print nails for you.. I had a different direction I had wanted to go in last night, but then ended up with this. Not disappointed.

I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base CoatButter London High TeaOrly Liquid VinylSally Hansen Terra-CoppaAcetoneBrushDotting ToolSeche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
I did two coats of the base colour (High Tea), then I was adding "splatter" prints with black (Liquid Vinyl) but felt they were too perfect.. so.. I decided to douse them with some acetone.. then.. I just decided to "smoke" them out.. which made the nails look grungey. But. This is me. I couldn't stop there. I decided to make dots (Terra-Coppa) throughout the smokey black, then make it into leopard print. Love.

That is all for today - see you all again soon!

Black Marble (sort of).

Hey everyone!

-Insert gratuitous reasoning(s) of why I have been away-

Ok, now that that is out of the way, hi!

I just realized I still have a couple post photos stocked up. Sigh. I haven't even uploaded all that is currently living on my camera. The fear is real.

That is for another day. Mayhaps this weekend.

Until then.

I think I said it at some point on my blog, but I feel like 2017 is going to be the year that I constantly do faux marble nails. Note: not watermarbling. I have given in to that failed activity far too many times.

No, I mean the classy kind of marble. You know.

This time, I did it in reverse, because, why not?

 It counts, right?

Ugh. I love it.

Cobalt Blue + Copper Stars

Hey everyone!

Just going to toss up a few posts in the next few days, as I have some backlogged posts..

This was a look using some cobalt blue polish - a friend had sent me a photo of some nails using a similar shade, and I needed to have that colour on asap.. this was the result.
