Hearts

So, I stumbled upon a new (to me!) blog the other day.. And fell in love with pretty much all over her designs. Many photos have been stuffed in to my inspirational folder..

It is http://rebeccalikesnails.blogspot.com/ and she is amazing. I kind of feel weird talking about someone like this whom I have never met/spoken with/anything.. But still! I need to put down her blog url for some more recognition.. And maybe some of you haven't come across her as well. AND if you have and never mentioned her to me.. Well, you're mean (:

Anyways!

I came across this adorable heart design she did. Of course I had to give it a whirl. Now, I have to apologize in advance. I have been slathering my hands in lotion every few hours, applying cuticle creams, etc, and I still picked at my skin really badly the other day. So.. Uh, they look gross. Sorry x 10!!

I used: OPI Alpine Snow, OPI Shorts Story, CG Lemon Fizz, CG Peachy Keen, CG Electric Pineapple & CC Take Me To Your Chateau. I also used a dotting tool which I received from Born Pretty

I also forgot to post up these shots the other day.. Two of my favourite friends gifted me with some nail polish for my birthday.. And I love them dearly for that!!

The Fun Dip polish actually does smell awesome.. Well, at least the yellow gem does. I have this weird obsession/affinity for yellow polish.. Yet I don't really own too many yellows.. ANYways.. Then we have Finger Paints polishes in Art Dearler Teal-er & Model Colour. Both are awesome!!

Whelp, that is all for now kiddos.. I am off to Edmonton in the a.m and I am extremely excited about it! It gives me a break from S'toon.. And just everyday stresses.. Which is really, really nice!

I have a large lump sum of cash to spend. I plan on a new summer-ish wardrobe (I am looking at you F21), some new makeup (*cough*illamasqua polishes*cough*) and I really new a new purse. I need all of these things.. Plus maybe a bit more!? Who knows!!

Take care til next week everyone!!

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Revlon Giveaway

GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!! Yaaaay! I am really excited to do this for all of you! I really appreciate all of you following me and commenting on my posts - it is amazing! So, I figured it was time to give back a bit. Now, this isn't a monster giveaway that I want to do - that will come sometime later. I have it all planned in my mind - BUT - until then, you'll have to put up with this! I picked up 3 polishes from the new Revlon collection the other day and really wanted to grab extras to giveaway, but the store was sold out of one of the colours after I bought it, and so, that thought was quickly squashed. Then, this evening, I ran in to another shop quickly - and they had a whole wealth of them - bingo! Giveaway time! The colours are: Starry Pink, Blue Mosaic & Facets of Fuchsia Supposedly FoF is a DL Bad Romance dupe. Sadly, I do not own that polish (I really, really wish I did) - but this polish is stunning - in fact, they all are! Thi
