31 Day Challenge: Day 30 Inspired by a tutorial

Day 30... YESSSSS! 1 more day! 1 more day! Seriously, I did not think this would be, um, as challenging as it actually has been. It is kind of a bittersweet point in time: it has been really great posting every day, but, I kind of hate that overwhelming, deadline-y feeling EVERY DAY! I only like that for assignments and exams.. Anyways.

One discretionary note.. This tutorial is incredibly adorable.. My take on it? I could not draw a star to save my soul tonight. I apologize. Blah!

I think one thing this whole challenge has taught me is: I need to work on my skillz. I feel like a good 25% of what I posted was not very good work. I better get my butt in gear and come up with some quality posts.. I want to end the year off on a high note!

So, for tomorrow.. Recreate your favourite challenge.. Is it what I have done? Someone else.. I have no idea! What would you all like to see me do again? I have an idea of what I would like to do again.. but please, let me know what you'd like to see! Then tomorrow, when I get home from work, that is what I will spend a solid chunk of time doing!

Til tomorrow my dear readers..

Oh wait.. I was able to snap a cute photo of Ben this evening.. He was actually not squawking at me.. He might look a little disheveled here.. I woke him up for a seed and I love when I do that and he curls up in my hand.

I think this looks great :) What kind of animal is Ben? He looks like a cute little rascal. And you got yourself a new follower :)

@Sirena - Thank you!!

@Helga - Ben is a degu.. So, he looks rat-like, but he is actually more closely related to a rabbit. He is quite smart and, yes, he is a rascal! And thanks for following, happy to have you!!

Revlon Giveaway

GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!! Yaaaay! I am really excited to do this for all of you! I really appreciate all of you following me and commenting on my posts - it is amazing! So, I figured it was time to give back a bit. Now, this isn't a monster giveaway that I want to do - that will come sometime later. I have it all planned in my mind - BUT - until then, you'll have to put up with this! I picked up 3 polishes from the new Revlon collection the other day and really wanted to grab extras to giveaway, but the store was sold out of one of the colours after I bought it, and so, that thought was quickly squashed. Then, this evening, I ran in to another shop quickly - and they had a whole wealth of them - bingo! Giveaway time! The colours are: Starry Pink, Blue Mosaic & Facets of Fuchsia Supposedly FoF is a DL Bad Romance dupe. Sadly, I do not own that polish (I really, really wish I did) - but this polish is stunning - in fact, they all are! Thi

Dry Marble Technique

Hey everyone! Yes.. Dry marble technique.. well.. technically I am water marbling, but allowing the polish to "dry" on the water.. then using it as a nail decal. Does that sound confusing? It might. But. I think this will be my next video. It is actually a lot of fun to do. And while I think this first attempt is grand, it could be better. I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Sally Hansen Bubblegum Pink Sally Hansen  Babe Blue Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow Water Dotting Tool Bowl Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I will probably film a video for this within the next week - so I will post up that gem soon. Or, there are probably a wealth online for you to look up in the mean time. Super fun technique without all the hassle of legit water marbling. See you all again soon!

I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat OPI Coca-Cola Red China Glaze Cranberry Splash KL Polish Snickerdoodle OPI Suzi - The First Lady of Nails OPI My Vampire Is Buff Orly Liquid Vinyl Sponge Dotting Tool Fake Nails These were rather fun to make.. but dangerous! Who knew breaking up fake nails would make them so sharp! Fun! That is all for today! See you tomorrow!
