12 Days of The Hunger Games: Day 5

Oooh China Glaze Riveting..

Now, I have always kind of been a closet sucker for orange polish - and this is no exception! It is so.. sizzly? Can I say that? Well, that is how I would describe it! I also had to include the wash-out-ish flash photo so up the awesome factor for this polish. It really is stunning.

I had remembered a mani I had posted using China Glaze Lighthouse and this stamp (BM 224) and wanted to do that with this polish. Then I had to toss on some gems for extra fun.

Oh, and I do apologize if anyone can see the hairs in that photo.. One of our pet's is currently extremely ill.. I was petting her before I took the photos.. Took the photos and came to edit them now - with my nails polish free - and noticed the hairs. Grr! So, again, I'm sorry!

See you all again for Day 4!!

I passed on this one but so many people have recommended it I decided it needed to go on my wish list. :)

Good thoughts for your sick fur baby.

P.S. Any chance you'd consider turning off word verification for comments? It makes my eyes sad.

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Revlon Giveaway

GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!! Yaaaay! I am really excited to do this for all of you! I really appreciate all of you following me and commenting on my posts - it is amazing! So, I figured it was time to give back a bit. Now, this isn't a monster giveaway that I want to do - that will come sometime later. I have it all planned in my mind - BUT - until then, you'll have to put up with this! I picked up 3 polishes from the new Revlon collection the other day and really wanted to grab extras to giveaway, but the store was sold out of one of the colours after I bought it, and so, that thought was quickly squashed. Then, this evening, I ran in to another shop quickly - and they had a whole wealth of them - bingo! Giveaway time! The colours are: Starry Pink, Blue Mosaic & Facets of Fuchsia Supposedly FoF is a DL Bad Romance dupe. Sadly, I do not own that polish (I really, really wish I did) - but this polish is stunning - in fact, they all are! Thi
