Skittles Leopard/Cheetah

I found a photo via pinterest of a look that Chalkboardnails had posted up.. I had to do something really similar to it because 1: I am never let down by what she posts and 2: it was too awesome not to do!

I am not sure how this will look on some computers.. I'm on probably the most outdated computer I have personally ever used. I mean, headphones are not even being recognized yet - NO SOUND :( but at least I still had Jasc Paint Shop Pro 8 on here.. Heh.

My sister and I had to do a minor bit of traveling this week for work, so I took some polish with me and did these  on our first night at the hotel. I am surprised how well nail polish held up.. Mind you, I wasn't doing any housework or dishes.. I guess that really helped!

I used: China Glaze Lemon Fizz (thumb), OPI A Roll In The Hague (index), Essie Lolipop (middle), China Glaze Gaga For Green (ring), Essie Mesmerize (pinky), Orly White Out, Orly Liquid Vinyl, and a couple of dotting tools from Born Pretty.

I received something really exciting in the mail the day we left.. I will have to get some photos and use it soon.. It has been a lemming of mine for awhile and I'm SOSOSOSOSO ecstatic to finally have it in my collection! Look for that hopefully some time this week. Now I'm off to wallow in my 'I don't have my normal computer, everything sucks on this one!' moment. Take care!

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Splatter Floral Nails

Hey everyone! Last night, after I did these nails and when I went to bed - I was quite pleased with my nails. When I woke up this morning, though, I wasn't overly crazy about them. I thought of a few things I could change so that I would really like them.. I am very tempted to take how I want them to look and recreate them before work.. I might just have to do it. Anyways! Really, there is nothing wrong with them.. I just sort of find them.. boring? Ah well! I used: Lime Crime Milky Ways China Glaze White On White OPI My Favourite Ornament China Glaze Highlight Of My Summer China Glaze Sweet Hook OPI Mod About You Formula X For Sephora Infatuated Orly Liquid Vinyl China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I made the roses with a "main" colour and white, then I did the details with the "main" colour and black mixed together. Again, I don't dislike these bad boys.. I am just not amazed by them! Also.. did you
