Humblebee

Hey everyone!

First and foremost - sorry for the slight disappearing act! This whole month has kind of been a bit of a blur. I feel like I have barely had time to even sit back and scope out any blogs on my blogroll - let alone blog! Insanity!

I started working a new shift (well.. it isn't new, nor necessarily new to me.. but "new" as my "shift".. yeah..) - but it is going to be a good thing! I will probably have to paint my nails every other day due to tip wear.. So that means you'll be seeing more posts of just polish, and a lot of times with different little top coats/glitter/shimmer. I will save "nail art" for the weekend.. I can probably promise at least 2 posts a week starting soon. Plus I have a little challenge starting up with a fellow amazing blogger next month - stay tuned for that!!

Phew, ok, now on to a quick snapshot of Humblebee. It is originally done by Nail-Venturous, and now Ninja Polish is producing it with her permission.

Now, my photo should have been taken this morning before work.. You will see the tip wear and a little bit of shrinkage and a spot where a speck of glitter flaked off - but I think you'll get the general gist of this awesome gem of a polish!!

Again, not the greatest of photos and it doesn't do this polish justice - but at least it is something.. right?!

I got a wealth of compliments from residents today though.. Any time I receive any compliments I feel that either the polish or nail art is a win. Awe yeah!

ALSO - are any of you getting a malware warning when visiting my blog? I had someone say they were, and yet when I checked on the site security - it gave me the all clear.. Just wondering!

Take care everyone - see you all again very soon!!

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Revlon Giveaway

GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!! Yaaaay! I am really excited to do this for all of you! I really appreciate all of you following me and commenting on my posts - it is amazing! So, I figured it was time to give back a bit. Now, this isn't a monster giveaway that I want to do - that will come sometime later. I have it all planned in my mind - BUT - until then, you'll have to put up with this! I picked up 3 polishes from the new Revlon collection the other day and really wanted to grab extras to giveaway, but the store was sold out of one of the colours after I bought it, and so, that thought was quickly squashed. Then, this evening, I ran in to another shop quickly - and they had a whole wealth of them - bingo! Giveaway time! The colours are: Starry Pink, Blue Mosaic & Facets of Fuchsia Supposedly FoF is a DL Bad Romance dupe. Sadly, I do not own that polish (I really, really wish I did) - but this polish is stunning - in fact, they all are! Thi
