Or cheetah.. I never really know what to call the print.. Anyways - hello everyone!!
On Friday night I was feeling pretty good - I figured I would do some water marbling using my AMAZING Lime Crime polish.. As the last time I used them all, I forgot to take photos before it was all wrecked and disturbing. SO! Water marbling and I are not good friends, and we are going to remain that way for at least another week or three (until I try again).
My right hand (the hand I started with) looked AWESOME! I have never had something that actually resembles the marble action, and it finally did. Things were looking up. Started working on my left hand.. Disaster city. It looked like someone had mixed all the polish together and maybe just vomited on my nails. Upsetting.
Then I decided to paint my nails all different colours and do the saran wrap technique.. Though I didn't let the base dry enough - so I had bald patches.. Ugh. Ahh yes, easily covered up with some leopard/cheetah activity. Sigh of relief. Many a-compliments ensued.. So all of my "fails" helped to lead to a success.
As I said before, these are using my Lime Crime polish.. Now to break down what each finger is..
Thumb: Parfait Day (base) with Crema De Limon
Index: Peaches "heart" Cream (base) with Lavendairy
Middle: Creama De Limon (base) with Pastelchio
Ring: Lavendairy (base) with Once In A Blue Mousse
Pinky: Pastelchio (base) with Peaches "heart" Cream
All of the work is done using my little brush-lette and Orly Liquid Vinyl.
The only polish not shown on these nails is Milky Ways, which I had used on my other hand.. I guess I could just start taking photos of both hands when it is a mixed mani like this - noted!!
I ordered all of these gems from HERE - it helps if you have awesome friends in the US who are willing to help you out when it is something that doesn't ship to Canada (thankies Ro)
I actually really like all of these.. They could all almost be one coaters, the colours are amazing - and they are all bright, yet pastel. Love.
