Day 11: Daisy Nail Lacquer Blue-moon Streaks and Shaken Pur-pill

Hello everyone!

Day 11 brings a couple more polish that I actually received from my 28-day challenge P.I.C (I now desperately want to watch 'Role Models').

This actually worked out more awesome than how I pictured it in my mind.. Though I had wanted to execute it differently, I still feel it looks great AND I received a wealth of compliments throughout the day.

I started with a base of China Glaze White on White, then I added a few coats of Daisy Nail Lacquer . I wanted to start the gradient when the polish was still wet, but I went out for a walk instead. When I got back home, just before I went to bed, I added a coat from about the halfway point of my nails upwards with Shaken Pur-pill.. then I added another quick coat at about the quarter mark and up. I actually think it looks quite fun. I really do like how it all turned out. And the confetti glitter activity makes my heart smile.

Hope everyone is having a great day - see you all back tomorrow!!

Oh, yes, remember to go check out Silver's blog to see what she has to share with you all today!!

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Splatter Floral Nails

Hey everyone! Last night, after I did these nails and when I went to bed - I was quite pleased with my nails. When I woke up this morning, though, I wasn't overly crazy about them. I thought of a few things I could change so that I would really like them.. I am very tempted to take how I want them to look and recreate them before work.. I might just have to do it. Anyways! Really, there is nothing wrong with them.. I just sort of find them.. boring? Ah well! I used: Lime Crime Milky Ways China Glaze White On White OPI My Favourite Ornament China Glaze Highlight Of My Summer China Glaze Sweet Hook OPI Mod About You Formula X For Sephora Infatuated Orly Liquid Vinyl China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I made the roses with a "main" colour and white, then I did the details with the "main" colour and black mixed together. Again, I don't dislike these bad boys.. I am just not amazed by them! Also.. did you
