Day 17: Revlon Whimsical

Hey everyone!

Just sneaking in with a really quick/almost late, but not quite - post!

I do apologize for my super dry hands and cuticle areas. My hands are angry. Weather changes always make my eczema go crrrrazy.. and changing my nail polish everyday hasn't helped - I figure the nail polish remover is also out for the souls of my fingers - moving on..

Now, this is done using Revlon Whimsical (thankies Amy!!) BUT.. One finger is done using Deborah Lippmann Glitter In The Air - any guesses as to which finger? I will answer that tomorrow!

I was going to layer it over a white or a blue, but I wanted to check out the build-ability.. This is four coats. Another 3+ coats and I figure it would have opaque.. plus I liked that it was like this zombie-esque skin colour.. Love!

See you all tomorrow - and remember to go scope out Silver's blog

LOL I'm curious which one is the Lippmann! I didn't see where you posted it? I am guessing the pinkie... I swear I heard the Lippmann was more sparse, and there seems to be less glitter on that finger.

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Splatter Floral Nails

Hey everyone! Last night, after I did these nails and when I went to bed - I was quite pleased with my nails. When I woke up this morning, though, I wasn't overly crazy about them. I thought of a few things I could change so that I would really like them.. I am very tempted to take how I want them to look and recreate them before work.. I might just have to do it. Anyways! Really, there is nothing wrong with them.. I just sort of find them.. boring? Ah well! I used: Lime Crime Milky Ways China Glaze White On White OPI My Favourite Ornament China Glaze Highlight Of My Summer China Glaze Sweet Hook OPI Mod About You Formula X For Sephora Infatuated Orly Liquid Vinyl China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I made the roses with a "main" colour and white, then I did the details with the "main" colour and black mixed together. Again, I don't dislike these bad boys.. I am just not amazed by them! Also.. did you
