Day 20: EmilydeMolly When Planets Collide

Hello everyone!

Yesterday a package arrived for me from Australia.. I couldn't figure out what I had ordered from Australia and the name didn't ring any bells.. Open it up.. No labels, notes, or anything else.. Then I remembered an order I put in via esty a looooong time ago (June 24th to be exact)..

Well, despite the lack of note or labeling, the polish I am about to show you, in my opinion, is stunning!!

This is 'When Planets Collide' and I love it! It is a black jelly base (I used dark blue undies!) with blue and red glitter activity.. And it is a real gem! I used 3 coats.

THEN I did something I NEVER do.. I used a matte top coat after taking these pics.. just for kicks..

Um, why haven't I been doing this fun-time matte thing before now?!

You can order this lovely polish HERE - though I believe she isn't doing international shipping at the moment, but will be again at some point.

I have two others from her to test out and show at some point in time as well! PRETTY!!

Have an awesome day, and see you again tomorrow! And, as always, remember to head over to Silver's blog to see what gorgeous polish/design she comes up with for today!!

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Splatter Floral Nails

Hey everyone! Last night, after I did these nails and when I went to bed - I was quite pleased with my nails. When I woke up this morning, though, I wasn't overly crazy about them. I thought of a few things I could change so that I would really like them.. I am very tempted to take how I want them to look and recreate them before work.. I might just have to do it. Anyways! Really, there is nothing wrong with them.. I just sort of find them.. boring? Ah well! I used: Lime Crime Milky Ways China Glaze White On White OPI My Favourite Ornament China Glaze Highlight Of My Summer China Glaze Sweet Hook OPI Mod About You Formula X For Sephora Infatuated Orly Liquid Vinyl China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I made the roses with a "main" colour and white, then I did the details with the "main" colour and black mixed together. Again, I don't dislike these bad boys.. I am just not amazed by them! Also.. did you
