My Favourite Polish: China Glaze Edition

Hey everyone!

My next set of favourites in this series come from China Glaze aka my largest brand collection. I have 82 (not including glitter) of them, so I figured that picking 20 for my favourites was fair. Here goes.. in no particular order, of course:

Trendsetter - a vomit-esque, Dijon mustard colour with flecks of yellow. Yeah, obviously awesome! Of course this wouldn't be a favourite for everyone, but there is something about this polish and my pale skin tone that I absolutely love.

Rich & Famous - This was another that I owned from almost the very start of my polishing ways. This is actually my third bottle.. because.. well, it is just an incredible pink! It reminds me of double bubble wrappers.. and it is another go-to-for-nail-art pink.. It is also almost perfect with just one coat. What is not to like?

Entourage - This is another gem from the start for me.. Well, top 50 for sure.. It is a fun green with very fine green shimmer. It is one that takes a touch of building, but it is worth it.

With Love - Ok, I know that I just added this to my collection.. but I think I might love it more than Essie Lolipop - and that was my GO TO red for the longest of times. This one is actually perfect in one coat - but I have said it before, and I will say it again: one coat polish freaks me out.

Lemon Fizz - I. Love. This. Polish. x infinity. It is the perfect yellow, as far as I am concerned. It is a nice yellow creme, pale yet noticeable at the same time. I cannot say enough amazing things about it. As you can see - my second bottle is almost done. I have a third in reserves. For safety sake!

Westside Warrior - Dark, army/khaki - wait for the keyword: green. Green is my favourite colour - each and every shade ever, so of course I love a wealth of green polish. This gem fits right in.

Atlantis - I haven't used this polish often, but my sister has quite a bit. Lovely green, turquoise, and gold glittery goodness. Love.

Gaga For Green - A perfect "shade darker than lime".. again, another green. The name of this green describes how I feel about all greens.

Re-Fresh Mint - A-hem.. I am sensing a wee bit of a trend here. A spectrum of different greens. This is a lovely light mint green. And it is perfect.

OMG - Holographic silver. I used to use this bad boy constantly. I have since started to hold back as it isn't going to be easy to obtain another bottle. This upsets me.

Electric Pineapple - A yellow-lime green.. I feel the name is basically perfect for it. It is a slightly "darker" version of Who The Shrek Are You? - which is probably why I absolutely adore it.

Sweet Hook - A perfect lilac colour.. Pastel.. Gorgeous.. Love.

Peachy Keen - This was a shade I bought and then afterwards was like 'ugh, why'. THEN I started to use it and realized that I absolutely love the colour with my skin tone. I do get many compliments on this shade. Judging by the name - it is a peach colour - almost a melon.. Quite nice.

Heli-Yum - A delightful light raspberry shade.. Again, pretty much a perfect colour.

Sea Spray - I think I like this polish so much because of the random nail art I did with it on its first use.. Light blue-grey with some shimmer. Pretty!

Foie Gras - I tossed this polish in to the mix because it is a colour that I feel like a year ago I would have been like 'oh, ok, meh', but then I actually use them and they are stunning. I never understood the whole "neutral" thing, and I think I am finally beginning to get it. They are lovely and simple, yet effective.

Zombie Zest - A green polish with the name 'zombie' in it. Of course I was bound to fall madly in love with it.

Midtown Magic - I still maintain that this is one of the "sexiest nail polish" I have ever come across. It is a chocolate purple shade and just incredible. I need to remember to use it more and post about it more often. It is a real stunner.

First Mate - This is a perfect blue. I think it is starting to steal my love away from Essie Mesmerize. This polish is perfectly opaque in a single coat. I have never had any bald patches or streaks while using it either. Love.

Sugar High - A perfect, bright, bubblegum pink polish. What is not to like?

These are my top picks out of my personal China Glaze collection - what are some of yours? I'd love to hear about your faves!!

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Splatter Floral Nails

Hey everyone! Last night, after I did these nails and when I went to bed - I was quite pleased with my nails. When I woke up this morning, though, I wasn't overly crazy about them. I thought of a few things I could change so that I would really like them.. I am very tempted to take how I want them to look and recreate them before work.. I might just have to do it. Anyways! Really, there is nothing wrong with them.. I just sort of find them.. boring? Ah well! Again, I don't dislike these bad boys.. I am just not amazed by them! Also.. did you
