Hey everyone!

Today I bring you an impulse buy polish that I'm insanely happy to have indulged in.. Though my application isn't the best (I got a little carried away with the polish and my top coat, thus leading to some bubbling.. if you can look past that though - true gem!)

This whole impulse buy started from this POST. When the polish arrived in my hot little hands on Tuesday, I really wanted to use a similar pink for my base, as it looks absolutely adorable, but I just wanted to use my favourite yellow ever and then top it all off with J-E-L-L-O. So I did.

I did end up getting a wealth of compliments on it - probably because it just looks like 'fun' slicked on to my nails. I really like this combo. I legitimately feel happy looking at these gems.

I got my bottle of J-E-L-L-O HERE, and I will do more of a review of it all when I do a post on the other bottle of polish I picked up.. I mean, it felt weird only ordering one bottle of polish..

Also.. a side note: is any one of my amazing followers a Fall Out Boy fan?! If so, aren't you as excited as I am?! I love their new song. What a great week - filled with a ton of work, fun nail polish goodies, and music! Yay!

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat OPI Coca-Cola Red China Glaze Cranberry Splash KL Polish Snickerdoodle OPI Suzi - The First Lady of Nails OPI My Vampire Is Buff Orly Liquid Vinyl Sponge Dotting Tool Fake Nails These were rather fun to make.. but dangerous!
