Laid Back 31 DC - Day 13 - Cheer Yourself Up Mani

Hello everyone!

I knew exactly what mani I'd turn to for this day of the challenge.. It is something I have done BEFORE and whenever I stumble across the photo on pinterest or where ever, it makes me smile. Basically it was a no brainer..

Products Used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
China Glaze Liquid Leather
butter London Cheeky Chops
OPI Metallic 4 Life
China Glaze White On White
Dotting Tool
Gold Studs
Little Brush
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

I think I love this mani so much because it has pretty much every element that I like. Studs. Glitter. Dots. Black and white, and yellow.. I mean, honestly, how can this not be enjoyed? That, and my OPI Metallic 4 Life was a gift polish from my sister - so it means more than most of my nail polish.. Just the fact that she remembered me saying I wanted that particular polish our of hundreds - it makes my heart smile!!

What mani cheers you up when you're having an off day??

See you all again very soon!!

Side note: this will be my last day of the challenge.. I could keep going, but I don't like the idea of not getting to post up the other people participating in it.. and it goes against contract stuff. Anyways. It will be back to my own doings from now on. Yay?

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Revlon Giveaway

GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!! Yaaaay! I am really excited to do this for all of you! I really appreciate all of you following me and commenting on my posts - it is amazing! So, I figured it was time to give back a bit. Now, this isn't a monster giveaway that I want to do - that will come sometime later. I have it all planned in my mind - BUT - until then, you'll have to put up with this! I picked up 3 polishes from the new Revlon collection the other day and really wanted to grab extras to giveaway, but the store was sold out of one of the colours after I bought it, and so, that thought was quickly squashed. Then, this evening, I ran in to another shop quickly - and they had a whole wealth of them - bingo! Giveaway time! The colours are: Starry Pink, Blue Mosaic & Facets of Fuchsia Supposedly FoF is a DL Bad Romance dupe. Sadly, I do not own that polish (I really, really wish I did) - but this polish is stunning - in fact, they all are! Thi
