Happy Birthday to Me!!

Yeah, I'm that lame. I'm dedicating a full post to MY day.

Hello everyone!!

Today is April 4th.. which to many people is just the fourth day of another month, no big deal or anything. But to me, it is a very special day. I used to sort of "hate" my birthday.. like.. legitimately dislike it. Then, I sort of changed my tune. It doesn't matter if I don't have any plans, or no one wants to wish me a happy birthday, or want to hang out.. It boils down to being that one day that I can just be like 'yup, this is me day'. That is when I stopped hating it. So like.. my 20th birthday. That was only like a year or three ago.. I have to run away meow..

Anyways! I'm sure you're not here to read my ramblings on the significance of a birthday.. you came to see my birthday nails. They are cupcake nails. Nothing overly special. Most of the residents at my work place were asking if I would do special nails for "my day", I figure I should please them.

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Revlon Giveaway

GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!! Yaaaay! I am really excited to do this for all of you! I really appreciate all of you following me and commenting on my posts - it is amazing! So, I figured it was time to give back a bit. Now, this isn't a monster giveaway that I want to do - that will come sometime later. I have it all planned in my mind - BUT - until then, you'll have to put up with this! I picked up 3 polishes from the new Revlon collection the other day and really wanted to grab extras to giveaway, but the store was sold out of one of the colours after I bought it, and so, that thought was quickly squashed. Then, this evening, I ran in to another shop quickly - and they had a whole wealth of them - bingo! Giveaway time! The colours are: Starry Pink, Blue Mosaic & Facets of Fuchsia Supposedly FoF is a DL Bad Romance dupe. Sadly, I do not own that polish (I really, really wish I did) - but this polish is stunning - in fact, they all are! Thi
