Darling Diva Polish Bitchcraft & Roses

Hey everyone!

As I mentioned in THIS POST, I won a giveaway from Darling Diva Polish. It included Material Girl & Bitchcraft.. I have already shown Material Girl, and given the title of this post, I am pretty sure that you know that you will see Bitchcraft today.

I was so frustrated with the weather here during my time of wearing this gorgeous holo polish.. Not. One. Day. With. Sun. Seriously. I had already been wearing it for 3 (maybe even 4 days) when I did take photos.. and I already had some great tip wear going on. I will have to swatch it again when we actually have a full out sunny day.. Right now, you look out, hey, sunny! Look again in 5 minutes, rain. Ugh. Though it isn't as bad as what Calgary is having to put up with. Zoiks!

Anyways. On to the photos..

Here is the description from the shop.. muchos better than what I could ever say:

"This has color shifting glitter like you have seen in the elytras. The shift is from blue to red. I have these lovely glitters swimming in a dark charcoal linear holographic jelly! This is best at 3 coats on its own but can be layered over black if you are into conservation like me."

I decided to add some rose activity to the nails.. I don't remember everything I used.. I had them all sitting by the computer for when I'd get this post up.. but.. all of these were at the computer and I decided to declutter and put everything away..

That is a medium sized Bath & Body Works bag and it almost half full. That is ridiculous. Whoops. Nail polish blogger problem?

You can snag yourself a bottle of Bitchcraft HERE and look at all of the other gorgeous polish. I am on a strict no-buy, but I see a bunch that I want when I can "buy" again.. (:

See you all again very soon and have an awesome day!!

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Dry Marble Technique

Hey everyone! Yes.. Dry marble technique.. well.. technically I am water marbling, but allowing the polish to "dry" on the water.. then using it as a nail decal. Does that sound confusing? It might. But. I think this will be my next video. It is actually a lot of fun to do. And while I think this first attempt is grand, it could be better. I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Sally Hansen Bubblegum Pink Sally Hansen  Babe Blue Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow Water Dotting Tool Bowl Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I will probably film a video for this within the next week - so I will post up that gem soon. Or, there are probably a wealth online for you to look up in the mean time. Super fun technique without all the hassle of legit water marbling. See you all again soon!

Splatter Floral Nails

Hey everyone! Last night, after I did these nails and when I went to bed - I was quite pleased with my nails. When I woke up this morning, though, I wasn't overly crazy about them. I thought of a few things I could change so that I would really like them.. I am very tempted to take how I want them to look and recreate them before work.. I might just have to do it. Anyways! Really, there is nothing wrong with them.. I just sort of find them.. boring? Ah well! I used: Lime Crime Milky Ways China Glaze White On White OPI My Favourite Ornament China Glaze Highlight Of My Summer China Glaze Sweet Hook OPI Mod About You Formula X For Sephora Infatuated Orly Liquid Vinyl China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I made the roses with a "main" colour and white, then I did the details with the "main" colour and black mixed together. Again, I don't dislike these bad boys.. I am just not amazed by them! Also.. did you
