Darling Diva Polish Material Girl

Hello everyone!!

A couple of weeks back, I entered to win a couple of Darling Diva Polish.. and.. surprise, surprise: I won! Yay x 100!

One of the two polish I won is Material Girl.. And I have to tell you all.. I really, really like it! It is a crelly polish that had perfect formulation - as far as I am concerned. (Oh, for those that don't know, 'crelly' means the polish is a creme-jelly formula aka it is a beautiful mixture of both).

I will use the description from Darling Diva Polish to explain this, because we all know how I am with explanations.. "2 sizes of holographic silver glitters, 2 sizes of hot pink circles, and holographic pink hex glitters in 2 sizes in a pink crelly base."

At least I knew it was a crelly polish BEFORE having to resort to that description - see? I know some things (:

I used 3 fairly thin coats.. What can I say? I have a heavy polishing hand. I also really enjoy that large hex glitter chunk on my index finger - seriously, favourite part of the whole polish!

Tough to say if I would have bought this polish just to buy a polish (especially right meow - poor girl problems!) but, I am extremely happy to have it as a part of my collection - it is exceptional! I can't wait to test out the other gem that I won - it looks equally as promising!!

See you all again very soon!

Neutral Dots

Hey everyone!

Long time, no blog. I have just been soso bad about getting photos of my nails.. going to try to end the year on a high note. Fingers crossed!

I apologize for how drrrry my hands/cuticles look in these photos. You know how you know that your hands are dry, but you don't think they are that bad, and maybe they aren't, but a photo makes it look 50x worse? That.

I was able to snap up this set of 4 Butter London gem polishes awhile back.. very neutral, but it had a particular shade I had been eyeing.. but that is not what I have used here, naturally.

I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
Butter London Ta-ta!
Sally Hansen White On!
Dotting Tool
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

That is all for today. I have mostly been wearing a wealth of polka dotted nail art.. there is something I want to re-visit from a couple of years back - will probably do that this weekend, and then keep going from there. Halloween is on the horizon.. so.. that will be a thing too. Take care…

Grungey Leopard Nails

Hey everyone!

Today I have some grungey leopard print nails for you.. I had a different direction I had wanted to go in last night, but then ended up with this. Not disappointed.

China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base CoatButter London High TeaOrly Liquid VinylSally Hansen Terra-CoppaAcetoneBrushDotting ToolSeche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
I did two coats of the base colour (High Tea), then I was adding "splatter" prints with black (Liquid Vinyl) but felt they were too perfect.. so.. I decided to douse them with some acetone.. then.. I just decided to "smoke" them out.. which made the nails look grungey. But. This is me. I couldn't stop there. I decided to make dots (Terra-Coppa) throughout the smokey black, then make it into leopard print. Love.

That is all for today - see you all again soon!

Black Marble (sort of).

Hey everyone!

-Insert gratuitous reasoning(s) of why I have been away-

Ok, now that that is out of the way, hi!

I just realized I still have a couple post photos stocked up. Sigh. I haven't even uploaded all that is currently living on my camera. The fear is real.

That is for another day. Mayhaps this weekend.

Until then.

I think I said it at some point on my blog, but I feel like 2017 is going to be the year that I constantly do faux marble nails. Note: not watermarbling. I have given in to that failed activity far too many times.

No, I mean the classy kind of marble. You know.

This time, I did it in reverse, because, why not?

 It counts, right?

Ugh. I love it.

All right, that is all for today. See you all again soon (I promise).
