Hey everyone & Happy Canada Day!
So.. textured nails.. textured nail polish.. I wasn't too keen on the whole idea - not because I think it looks bad (it looks rad) but because I know that when I wear rhinestones or studs, etc, I pick at my nails and ruin the whole mani within the span of 24 hours.
I saw this awesome tutorial on The Nailasaurus the other day.. and figured I would actually give this whole sugar spun nails a go. I didn't glob polish on the side of fingers - but maybe I will try that next time..
I didn't pick them all off within 24 hours either.. kind of impressed with myself. I think I have been sporting them for almost 2 days. Yeah. Serious business!
I used butter London Slapper as my base, and then butter London Cheeky Chops for the sugar spun technique. I also used a dotting tool instead of a toothpick..
Thinking back, and knowing that I'd be posting it today.. I should have used red and white.. you know.. for Canada Day. Oops!
Hope everyone is having an awesome day - and I will see you all again soon!!
