Summery Gradient with Leopard Activity

....I should never be left to my own post naming devices. Sigh

Hello everyone!

I was going through my nail inspiration pins.. as I do.. pretty much daily.. and THIS photo kept coming to mind.. I knew a few polish sitting in my untried bag that I could work some magic with.. I think it turned out rather fun.

I used China Glaze Highlight of My Summer, China Glaze Bottom's Up, Essie In the Cab-Ana, butter London Cheeky Chops, and China Glaze Liquid Leather.

I really, really like Highlight of My Summer and Bottom's Up.. but they kind of went on a bit streaky and dried very chalky.. but once a top coat was applied - all was well. I realize my gradient doesn't look too on point in this photo.. but I kind of like that the pink still shows at the top.. I just think they are fun nails!

I was also sporting them during this strange heat wave we were going through. It seems like we're going to  be cooling down a bit this week. I don't think I wanted any more 30+ weather anyways. Well, ok, if it wants to show up near the end of September, I'd like that. Push back "winter", please.

That is all for today! See you again soon..

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Revlon Giveaway

GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!! Yaaaay! I am really excited to do this for all of you! I really appreciate all of you following me and commenting on my posts - it is amazing! So, I figured it was time to give back a bit. Now, this isn't a monster giveaway that I want to do - that will come sometime later. I have it all planned in my mind - BUT - until then, you'll have to put up with this! I picked up 3 polishes from the new Revlon collection the other day and really wanted to grab extras to giveaway, but the store was sold out of one of the colours after I bought it, and so, that thought was quickly squashed. Then, this evening, I ran in to another shop quickly - and they had a whole wealth of them - bingo! Giveaway time! The colours are: Starry Pink, Blue Mosaic & Facets of Fuchsia Supposedly FoF is a DL Bad Romance dupe. Sadly, I do not own that polish (I really, really wish I did) - but this polish is stunning - in fact, they all are! Thi
