31DC2013 - 10 - Gradient

Well.. I've really gone and done it now.. I'm actually behind on the challenge.. for real now! I have to play catch up here.. Fun times!

My nails, well, ok, not necessarily my nails, but the skin around my nails looks like crap.. I am good about not consciously picking at the skin during the day - I must be doing it at night.. I have no idea, I digress.

Ok! I did a super quick gradient this morning, and now I will have to do some quick Polka Dot nails later on and then get some stripes done.. phew! All right.. on to the photo then..

Super simple.. I used 3 a England polish: Guinevere, Ascalon, and Lady of the Lake - nothing super special.. just some quick and easy gradient nails. Though I did use 3 polish that are quite lovely - so that is a bonus!

Ok! I better go get my butt in gear and get some dots done.. geeeez! I said I didn't want to get behind, and of course I do. Sigh. I never learn!

See you again soon with another post!

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Revlon Giveaway

GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!! Yaaaay! I am really excited to do this for all of you! I really appreciate all of you following me and commenting on my posts - it is amazing! So, I figured it was time to give back a bit. Now, this isn't a monster giveaway that I want to do - that will come sometime later. I have it all planned in my mind - BUT - until then, you'll have to put up with this! I picked up 3 polishes from the new Revlon collection the other day and really wanted to grab extras to giveaway, but the store was sold out of one of the colours after I bought it, and so, that thought was quickly squashed. Then, this evening, I ran in to another shop quickly - and they had a whole wealth of them - bingo! Giveaway time! The colours are: Starry Pink, Blue Mosaic & Facets of Fuchsia Supposedly FoF is a DL Bad Romance dupe. Sadly, I do not own that polish (I really, really wish I did) - but this polish is stunning - in fact, they all are! Thi
