Summery Dry Brush

Hey everyone!

I know I have not quite nailed down the whole dry brush technique, but I am definitely having a wealth of fun trying to master it. I decided to go with a very summery palette the other day and was not really sure what I was going to do.. then this happened.. then some glitter top coats got involved.. basically it was a fuster cluck (see what I did there?) though I do quite like it.

I am the worst person alive.. I put away all the polish I used already. Siiigh. I do know that China Glaze White on White was my base.. and I know China Glaze Lemon Fizz and butter London Jaffa was used. I also know the two glitter top coats: Essie Set In Stones & Hard Candy Mom & Pop.

Actually, looking at this.. I would say China Glaze Heli-Yum was also involved. I think that might be all the polish. Thank you, brain, go rest now.

I actually suffered a nail break yesterday.. I was going to keep my longer nails for a bit.. but I had not worn polish in about 5 days.. so.. my nail was like 'here is your punishment, jerk!' and I had to accept that. Back to short nubs again - yay!

See you all again soon!!

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

GIVEAWAY CLOSED! WINNERS TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!! Yaaaay! I am really excited to do this for all of you! I really appreciate all of you following me and commenting on my posts - it is amazing! So, I figured it was time to give back a bit. Now, this isn't a monster giveaway that I want to do - that will come sometime later. I have it all planned in my mind - BUT - until then, you'll have to put up with this! I picked up 3 polishes from the new Revlon collection the other day and really wanted to grab extras to giveaway, but the store was sold out of one of the colours after I bought it, and so, that thought was quickly squashed. Then, this evening, I ran in to another shop quickly - and they had a whole wealth of them - bingo! Giveaway time! The colours are: Starry Pink, Blue Mosaic & Facets of Fuchsia Supposedly FoF is a DL Bad Romance dupe. Sadly, I do not own that polish (I really, really wish I did) - but this polish is stunning - in fact, they all are! Thi
