The Great Polish Giveaway of 2014

Hey everyone!

Clearly if you're here, you're like me, and either absolutely love nail polish, or at least have a slight fondness for it. As long as I am going with that assumption, I am also going to say that you also love a giveaway.. and it is even better if it is a giveaway of nail polish! I know my eyes bugged out a bit when I received this e-mail from Nail Polish Canada talking about a ginormous giveaway - that only grows with the help of bloggers. Duh. Of course I am going to put in my two cents!!

I was asked to bring attention to this already rad giveaway, and then to nominate a polish - sure, I have zero problems with that.

The polish I choose to nominate for this giveaway is piCture pOlish Honey Dew. Why? 1. It is a shade of green. 2. It is bright. 3. It screams summer. 4. I don't own it, and that makes me really sad. I mean, look at it!

The more bloggers that get involved, the larger the prize gets.. how bad ass is that? I cannot wait to see other posts and see what other bloggers are nominating.. although I am kind of scared for my wallet.. unless I win, of course. Then I will have to possibly worry about more storage - I can definitely handle that!!

I will post up a couple items here.. one is a rafflecopter entry form, and the other is a button that keeps tabs on the growing giveaway prize. Pretty neat, right?!

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Splatter Floral Nails

Hey everyone! Last night, after I did these nails and when I went to bed - I was quite pleased with my nails. When I woke up this morning, though, I wasn't overly crazy about them. I thought of a few things I could change so that I would really like them.. I am very tempted to take how I want them to look and recreate them before work.. I might just have to do it. Anyways! Really, there is nothing wrong with them.. I just sort of find them.. boring? Ah well! I used: Lime Crime Milky Ways China Glaze White On White OPI My Favourite Ornament China Glaze Highlight Of My Summer China Glaze Sweet Hook OPI Mod About You Formula X For Sephora Infatuated Orly Liquid Vinyl China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I made the roses with a "main" colour and white, then I did the details with the "main" colour and black mixed together. Again, I don't dislike these bad boys.. I am just not amazed by them! Also.. did you
