31DC2014 - Day 21 - Inspired By A Colour

Hey everyone!

So day 21 of the #31DC2014 called for being inspired by a colour.. to me, I take that to mean 'inspired by a nail polish' aka inspired by a polish name. What better polish for me to choose than one of my absolute faves: China Glaze Lemon Fizz.

I have probably gone through 2 bottles already, and my third here is already at about half-way. This is an impossibly gorgeous yellow creme and I find the formula to be perfect! I just love it!!

I was trying to hand paint the lemons, but it just was not going well.. sooo.. some hacked up fimo slices I went with.. Despite the hack job on the fimos, I still love this. It is like a fizzy lemonade. Who wouldn't like that!?

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. Countdown to Halloween 2017: Gross Nails

Hey everyone! Not sure what else to call these.. other than gross.. these are the nails I imagine some sadistic swamp-dwelling mother of mutants to have.. yeah, that. I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat OPI Coca-Cola Red China Glaze Cranberry Splash KL Polish Snickerdoodle OPI Suzi - The First Lady of Nails OPI My Vampire Is Buff Orly Liquid Vinyl Sponge Dotting Tool Fake Nails These were rather fun to make.. but dangerous!
