Hey everyone!
Haha.. uhhh.. my post title is killing me right now. My pals and I (my sister in particular) use the 'dim the lights...' line a lot, but originated from 'Road Trip', and it definitely does not end with 'it's floral time', but it is cheeky and I am going with it.
We have been having some very strange weather lately - yes, even for the prairies in Canada. We had a dream January (we had days that were above 0.. we had melting in January), which led to some extreme temperature lows in February, but compared to some winters, I almost feel like this was a cakewalk for a winter. And, it is intense how quick the turn around in temperatures have been. -30c on Saturday overnight.. and then up to -2c on Monday.. oh.. ok weather. Let's do this!
Because of these 'balmy' temps, I think of spring, and spring makes me think floral.. so.. here are my first set of floral nails for 2015.
I used:
I just really wanted to use Trout Pout again.. haven't used that gem in awhile. Then I decided to stay in the colour family for the flowers (roses?) and Chillin' Like A Villain and Cajun Shrimp fit the bill. Love these. Oh, and I needed gold in there just because.
Got a wealth of compliments on these.. and many thought they were jamberry (that is my fave kind of compliment) and a wealth of people lately have been telling me to start doing gel/acrylics.. who knows.. maybe some year I will learn?
That is all for today! See you all again soon!!
