Firmoo Glasses Review 2015

Hey everyone!

I know.. worst. blogger. ever. I accept this award and will strive to do better. I promise. I have just been.. well, the usual, just kind of have the wind out of my sails - and super busy. Anywho!

Lets talk glasses today!

When I turned 16, I found out I needed glasses for distance activities (reading the boards at school, driving, basically anything with a distance of more than 8 feet). And, from there, my eyes got worse and I needed them full time.

Now, nothing against goggs - I love them! But sometimes.. no matter how many local shops you go to, they just don't have frames that scream your name - or, they have some that you like, but it will literally cost you an arm and a leg. This is where some sweet online shopping comes in to play.

You can pretty much buy all the things online, so why not glasses? I know it might seem like a daunting task, but really, have prescription - will travel.. err.. buy. Yes, that is it! Once you have your lenses prescription, you basically have the golden ticket. All access pass. Yup, moving on.

You can take your sweet prescription over to www.firmoo.com and select from so many different frames (they even do prescription sunglasses (I need to board that train!)).

I recently was contacted and asked to select a pair of glasses to share with all of you. I went with THESE BAD BOYS because they looked rad and, after having them in my hot little mitts - have a definite 70s vibe. Win all around!

I love them. The lenses are soooo clear - ok, I know that is a strange thing to say, but putting them on is magical - like I feel like I have these laser clear specs and that everything is so crisp. Phenomenal feeling, really!

They are pretty helpful on the site with any little details for your lenses, and they have a few different packages for all your viewage needs. Is that not perfect? I think so.

Shipping is fast, and you get a sweet case, micro cleaning cloth, and some tools to keep your goggles in tip top shape! I will tell you now that the baby screwdriver can be an absolute lifesaver - trust me on that one.

Allllso.. first time customer? Enjoy a sweet 15% discount off of their already affordable prices.

Go now! Scope the site - get some new glasses! Your eyes will thank you.

I meant to do some nails to match these glasses, but my nails are a disaster currently. So.. I added green to my hair to match instead..

Have a great day everyone, happy shopping, and see you again soon!!

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I mean, I'm fairly patriotic as a rule, but sometimes sporting a Maple Leaf on my fingers isn't exactly my style.. ANYways.. See? The love is there with the red and white.. I know I said the next time I did the saran wrap method, I was going to try with three colours.. But, I think I will maybe leave that experiment for tomorrow - today is only about these two colours! So.. How I get to this? Well, allow me to show you. Start off with the colours of your choice - one as the base, and one as your.. distress-er? And some saran/cling wrap. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. After your base has COMPLETELY DRIED (you can do these a couple of hours in advance, the night before, or even use some

Dry Marble Technique

Hey everyone! Yes.. Dry marble technique.. well.. technically I am water marbling, but allowing the polish to "dry" on the water.. then using it as a nail decal. Does that sound confusing? It might. But. I think this will be my next video. It is actually a lot of fun to do. And while I think this first attempt is grand, it could be better. I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Sally Hansen Bubblegum Pink Sally Hansen  Babe Blue Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow Water Dotting Tool Bowl Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I will probably film a video for this within the next week - so I will post up that gem soon. Or, there are probably a wealth online for you to look up in the mean time. Super fun technique without all the hassle of legit water marbling. See you all again soon!

Splatter Floral Nails

Hey everyone! Last night, after I did these nails and when I went to bed - I was quite pleased with my nails. When I woke up this morning, though, I wasn't overly crazy about them. I thought of a few things I could change so that I would really like them.. I am very tempted to take how I want them to look and recreate them before work.. I might just have to do it. Anyways! Really, there is nothing wrong with them.. I just sort of find them.. boring? Ah well! I used: Lime Crime Milky Ways China Glaze White On White OPI My Favourite Ornament China Glaze Highlight Of My Summer China Glaze Sweet Hook OPI Mod About You Formula X For Sephora Infatuated Orly Liquid Vinyl China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I made the roses with a "main" colour and white, then I did the details with the "main" colour and black mixed together. Again, I don't dislike these bad boys.. I am just not amazed by them! Also.. did you
