Sometimes Only An F-Bomb Will Do!

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the M.I.Aness. Excuses? Work. Moving. Basically life.. that, and my computer is being a red-shirted ass, but hey.. everything has its 'off' days.

My mani today is the perfect mix of how I feeling at this particular moment. It is all colourful and cheery.. with a nice little 'fuck' decal thrown in. Because that is how I feel right meow. Cheery, but kind of like 'fuck' at the same time.

Also, I finally tried the whole 'put your glitter polish on a sponge, and sponge it on the nail' technique. Um, love!

I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow
Nails Inc Baker Street
Finger Paints 15 Minutes of Fame
OPI Alpine Snow
OPI Color So Hot It Berns
Orly Turn It Up
Decal from My Nails Did
Sponge
Tweezers
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

I just love this!

You can scope the decals from My Nails Did Vinyls by clicking HERE, and these are the gems in particular.. many amazing cuss words to make you smile!

Hope everyone is having a cheery and fun day - even if there is a little bit of 'fuck' tossed in for good measure!

Neutral Dots

Hey everyone!

Long time, no blog. I have just been soso bad about getting photos of my nails.. going to try to end the year on a high note. Fingers crossed!

I apologize for how drrrry my hands/cuticles look in these photos. You know how you know that your hands are dry, but you don't think they are that bad, and maybe they aren't, but a photo makes it look 50x worse? That.

I was able to snap up this set of 4 Butter London gem polishes awhile back.. very neutral, but it had a particular shade I had been eyeing.. but that is not what I have used here, naturally.

I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
Butter London Ta-ta!
Sally Hansen White On!
Dotting Tool
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

That is all for today. I have mostly been wearing a wealth of polka dotted nail art.. there is something I want to re-visit from a couple of years back - will probably do that this weekend, and then keep going from there. Halloween is on the horizon.. so.. that will be a thing too. Take care…

Grungey Leopard Nails

Hey everyone!

Today I have some grungey leopard print nails for you.. I had a different direction I had wanted to go in last night, but then ended up with this. Not disappointed.

I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base CoatButter London High TeaOrly Liquid VinylSally Hansen Terra-CoppaAcetoneBrushDotting ToolSeche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
I did two coats of the base colour (High Tea), then I was adding "splatter" prints with black (Liquid Vinyl) but felt they were too perfect.. so.. I decided to douse them with some acetone.. then.. I just decided to "smoke" them out.. which made the nails look grungey. But. This is me. I couldn't stop there. I decided to make dots (Terra-Coppa) throughout the smokey black, then make it into leopard print. Love.

That is all for today - see you all again soon!

Black Marble (sort of).

Hey everyone!

-Insert gratuitous reasoning(s) of why I have been away-

Ok, now that that is out of the way, hi!

I just realized I still have a couple post photos stocked up. Sigh. I haven't even uploaded all that is currently living on my camera. The fear is real.

That is for another day. Mayhaps this weekend.

Until then.

I think I said it at some point on my blog, but I feel like 2017 is going to be the year that I constantly do faux marble nails. Note: not watermarbling. I have given in to that failed activity far too many times.

No, I mean the classy kind of marble. You know.

This time, I did it in reverse, because, why not?

 It counts, right?

Ugh. I love it.
