Day 2 of the Ho Ho Holiday Box

Hey everyone!

Today I am sharing with you day 2 of the Ho Ho Holiday Box from Mrs. P's Potions & Soak It!

And it reads:

"It's the second day of Christmas, you're looking forward to a break
These days you need a shower just to keep you awake.
A shower steamer will ensure that your eyes won't droop
'Cuz it's scented with some pine-y Reindeer Poop!"

Annnd this one is a HoHoHoliday Box exclusive!

I am terrible at describing scents, but this definitely has that wonderful pine-esque scent. I am a nighttime shower-er, and this definitely has a zingy 'hey, you're going to be awake!' scent vibe to it. I am just really excited about the whole shower steamer movement - I am 99/100 times going to take a shower over a bath, but I want cool things for the shower - this is just fantastic to me.

It says I can probably get 2 uses out of it. I shall make this little bad boy count!

You can scope out the array of shower steamers by clicking HERE

That is all for today -- see you again tomorrow!

Grungey Leopard Nails

Hey everyone!

Today I have some grungey leopard print nails for you.. I had a different direction I had wanted to go in last night, but then ended up with this. Not disappointed.

I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base CoatButter London High TeaOrly Liquid VinylSally Hansen Terra-CoppaAcetoneBrushDotting ToolSeche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
I did two coats of the base colour (High Tea), then I was adding "splatter" prints with black (Liquid Vinyl) but felt they were too perfect.. so.. I decided to douse them with some acetone.. then.. I just decided to "smoke" them out.. which made the nails look grungey. But. This is me. I couldn't stop there. I decided to make dots (Terra-Coppa) throughout the smokey black, then make it into leopard print. Love.

That is all for today - see you all again soon!

Cobalt Blue + Copper Stars

Hey everyone!

Just going to toss up a few posts in the next few days, as I have some backlogged posts..

This was a look using some cobalt blue polish - a friend had sent me a photo of some nails using a similar shade, and I needed to have that colour on asap.. this was the result.

Black Marble (sort of).

Hey everyone!

-Insert gratuitous reasoning(s) of why I have been away-

Ok, now that that is out of the way, hi!

I just realized I still have a couple post photos stocked up. Sigh. I haven't even uploaded all that is currently living on my camera. The fear is real.

That is for another day. Mayhaps this weekend.

Until then.

I think I said it at some point on my blog, but I feel like 2017 is going to be the year that I constantly do faux marble nails. Note: not watermarbling. I have given in to that failed activity far too many times.

No, I mean the classy kind of marble. You know.

This time, I did it in reverse, because, why not?

 It counts, right?

Ugh. I love it.
