Day 3 of the Ho Ho Holiday Box

Hey everyone!

Today I bring you day 3 of the Ho Ho Holiday Box by Mrs. P's Potions & Soak It!

Days 1 & 2 were exceptional, so I basically have high hopes for everyday, and I feel like I am not going to be disappointed!

Also, the first three days had the little notes, so I am positive I will get them every day, and that excites me almost more than the products - almost.

I uhhh.. got a little over zealous when opening this one.. and I destroyed the little note.. and.. that really makes me sad. BUT! I can still read it, so I am able to transcribe here:

"It's the third day of Christmas, you're getting into the mood
The lights and the parties and all that holiday food!
Your festive clothes are on point, but you want your mani to match
With this sparkly red polish, you'll be quite the catch!"

And this is listed as a Ho Ho Holiday Box exclusive as well.. so.. YEX!

This is a red polish with holographic glitters.. it is basically igniting my eyes with happiness. It is called 'Santa's Pants on Fire'.. so.. I feel like is an extremely correct name for this polish. Gorg!

It also says 'Santa's Pipe Scent'.. so.. is it also a scented polish!? Hoolllllllyyyy!!

You can scope other polish by Mrs. P HERE!

See you all again tomorrow.. I can barely wait.

Neutral Dots

Hey everyone!

Long time, no blog. I have just been soso bad about getting photos of my nails.. going to try to end the year on a high note. Fingers crossed!

I apologize for how drrrry my hands/cuticles look in these photos. You know how you know that your hands are dry, but you don't think they are that bad, and maybe they aren't, but a photo makes it look 50x worse? That.

I was able to snap up this set of 4 Butter London gem polishes awhile back.. very neutral, but it had a particular shade I had been eyeing.. but that is not what I have used here, naturally.

I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
Butter London Ta-ta!
Sally Hansen White On!
Dotting Tool
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

That is all for today. I have mostly been wearing a wealth of polka dotted nail art.. there is something I want to re-visit from a couple of years back - will probably do that this weekend, and then keep going from there. Halloween is on the horizon.. so.. that will be a thing too. Take care…

Grungey Leopard Nails

Hey everyone!

Today I have some grungey leopard print nails for you.. I had a different direction I had wanted to go in last night, but then ended up with this. Not disappointed.

China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base CoatButter London High TeaOrly Liquid VinylSally Hansen Terra-CoppaAcetoneBrushDotting ToolSeche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
I did two coats of the base colour (High Tea), then I was adding "splatter" prints with black (Liquid Vinyl) but felt they were too perfect.. so.. I decided to douse them with some acetone.. then.. I just decided to "smoke" them out.. which made the nails look grungey. But. This is me. I couldn't stop there. I decided to make dots (Terra-Coppa) throughout the smokey black, then make it into leopard print. Love.

That is all for today - see you all again soon!

Black Marble (sort of).

Hey everyone!

-Insert gratuitous reasoning(s) of why I have been away-

Ok, now that that is out of the way, hi!

I just realized I still have a couple post photos stocked up. Sigh. I haven't even uploaded all that is currently living on my camera. The fear is real.

That is for another day. Mayhaps this weekend.

Until then.

I think I said it at some point on my blog, but I feel like 2017 is going to be the year that I constantly do faux marble nails. Note: not watermarbling. I have given in to that failed activity far too many times.

No, I mean the classy kind of marble. You know.

This time, I did it in reverse, because, why not?

 It counts, right?

Ugh. I love it.

All right, that is all for today. See you all again soon (I promise).
