Colourful Splatter Mani

Hey everyone!

I got a not so great result back on my bloodwork today.. so technically I should just be holed up watching youtube videos on my ipad, burrito'd in my bed.. but.. I decided to actually get some blog posts ready instead. Not sure what that is really supposed to mean, but let's just roll with it.

A friend of mine tagged me in a nail video the other day - and the first mani was splatter, and I realized I had not done that in awhile, so.. why not?!

I started with a white base and just used a multitude of colours. I always love the results of splatter manis.. so.. let's take a glance!

I used:
  • China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
  • OPI Alpine Snow
  • China Glaze The Grass Is Lime Greener
  • China Glaze Bottoms Up
  • China Glaze Home Sweet House Music
  • Orly Candy Shop
  • butter London Slapper
  • Straw
  • Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

So fun to look at.. the white based splatter nails always remind me of those monster jawbreakers you got as a kid (maybe they still have them?) - you would work on them for days.. sometimes over a week.. ahh man.. good times!

That is all for today - I will see you all again soon. I have enough photos ready to go for my next five posts. Oops!

Black Marble (sort of).

Hey everyone!

-Insert gratuitous reasoning(s) of why I have been away-

Ok, now that that is out of the way, hi!

I just realized I still have a couple post photos stocked up. Sigh. I haven't even uploaded all that is currently living on my camera. The fear is real.

That is for another day. Mayhaps this weekend.

Until then.

I think I said it at some point on my blog, but I feel like 2017 is going to be the year that I constantly do faux marble nails. Note: not watermarbling. I have given in to that failed activity far too many times.

No, I mean the classy kind of marble. You know.

This time, I did it in reverse, because, why not?

 It counts, right?

Ugh. I love it.

All right, that is all for today. See you all again soon (I promise).

My Top 10 of 2016

Hey everyone!

I know the whole 'Top 9' of instagram is a thing (I did partake...) but, I also wanted to do my personal top choices of the year. I think one of them matches the IG choices.. kind of neat!

In previous years, I think I selected top 'whatever number is higher than the current year' - but that would be 17, and I could barely make it to 10.. so.. 10 it is!

Let's take a look at all of them together..

We shall start at the top, and work out way through with links..
