Golden Gelato

Hey everyone!

Long time, no blog. I know. Very aware.

The usual.. life.. work.. busy.

Also, my PC was dead for quite some time. I had meant to make a little post about it, but, you know - the line above this spiel.

Anyways!

I do still have a few posts that can go up, plus a couple that I remembered to photograph in my down-time.

Today I will share the mani that I did last night because it is the freshest in my mind (aka I remember what I used!)


Hopefully these images look decent. I am just testing out a new editing program.. like.. I literally just finished installing it. And getting text on these images. We shall see how it pans out!

I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
OPI Gelato On My Mind
Orly Glitz
H2O & Hand Sanitizer
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

Now.. hopefully you will be seeing me around a bit more often. But. I make no guarantees on a set-schedule for a bit. Lots of life-activity going on in the next couple o'weeks here. But. I will do my best.

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. Dry Marble Technique

Hey everyone! Yes.. Dry marble technique.. well.. technically I am water marbling, but allowing the polish to "dry" on the water.. then using it as a nail decal. Does that sound confusing? It might. But. I think this will be my next video. It is actually a lot of fun to do. And while I think this first attempt is grand, it could be better. I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Sally Hansen Bubblegum Pink Sally Hansen  Babe Blue Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow Water Dotting Tool Bowl Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I will probably film a video for this within the next week - so I will post up that gem soon. Or, there are probably a wealth online for you to look up in the mean time. Super fun technique without all the hassle of legit water marbling. See you all again soon!

Splatter Floral Nails

Hey everyone! Last night, after I did these nails and when I went to bed - I was quite pleased with my nails. When I woke up this morning, though, I wasn't overly crazy about them. I thought of a few things I could change so that I would really like them.. I am very tempted to take how I want them to look and recreate them before work.. I might just have to do it. Anyways! Really, there is nothing wrong with them.. I just sort of find them.. boring? Ah well!
