Galaxy Nails To Match My Hair

Hey everyone! This past weekend, I went to a hair appointment that I had booked waaaay back in like.. late November or early December.. yeah, this stylist is that in-demand in Saskatoon! Anyways, THIS is her FB and THIS is her IG - she does incredible work. What I wanted initially was not do-able that same day.. but.. what she gave me was super rad! This is what I ended up with.. Amazing, right?! So.. when she told me I was a galaxy unicorn.. I was like 'galaxy, yes'. So I did some galaxy nails to match my locks. I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat OPI Alpine Snow Formula X For Sephora Indelible OPI My Pal Joey  OPI Vant To Bite My Neck OPI Amazon...Amazoff China Glaze Fairy Dust Sponge Dotting Tool Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat That is all for today -- see you all again soon!

Mint Mix Nails

Hey everyone! A few weeks back, as I was scrolling through IG (as one does), I came across THESE NAILS by Obsecrets and had to screenshot the excellence of the mani.. for recreation purposes. I love them.. and I am really loving how my nails look lately. Is that a super conceited thing to say? Eh. I am being honest. I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat OPI Alpine Snow Sally Hansen Mint Sorbet Orly Mirrorball  Orly Liquid Vinyl Dotting Tool Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat That is all for today - see you all again soon!!

Bubbly Zebra

Hey everyone! The other day, I had such a weird hankering to use Orly Bubbly Bombshell - but how?! I ended up painting my nails stark white, and just adding BB as free handed zebra stripes. Simple, clean, effective. I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat OPI Alpine Snow Orly Bubbly Bombshell Detail Brush Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I quite liked these - got a bunch of comments on them in real life - which I always feel means they look rad.. so, there is that. That is all for today -- see you all again soon!

Formula X The Match CLIX! Swatch Post

Hey everyone! Last weekend, as I bopped in to Sephora to nab some retexurizing pads I was out of, I took a quick peruse of the store, as one does - but my pal that I was with had strict instructions to keep me fairly focused (that, and we had a movie starting in like.. 30 mins) Anyways! In the back of my mind, I was also wanting a 'nude' polish because of an image I had saved from IG. Took a look at these Formula X The Match CLIX! in 'Fair/Light' and quickly made my way to the till. My plan was to immediately swatch all of them and just post them.. but I used the blue first, was obsessed and wanted to wear it as a full mani with an accent nail - so I did the rest of my swatches with an accent nail as well - two birds, meet one stone.. all of these accent nail polishes that I used we in my untried rack. Seriously, winning. The four colours in the set were designed to complement the skin tones specified - and I think they did an exceptional job with the fair/l

Catch Up Post

Hey everyone! So, I had these two manis just saved in my photos - but I only had the one photo of the darker mani, so, I am going to toss them together and then I am all caught up on back posts. Aka time to get to work. I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Cirque Empire State of Mind OPI My Favorite Ornament Dotting Tool Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat This mani I didn't jot down any information on.. I am sorry for that.. but.. I do know it was a saran wrap mani. Oh me. That is all for today! See you all again soon!

St. Patrick's Day Nails 2016

Hey everyone! So, today is St. Patrick's Day - and it is one of my rad friends' birthday as well - but, this day is notorious for, well, drinking mostly, BUT! It is also just an overload of my favourite colour, green, and gold.. and rainbow.. leprechauns.. you know, all that good stuff.. but I am going to focus on the green and gold aspect! I did a lime green base, some "dry brush" technique with two other shades of green, and then gold dots/blobs.. I know I saw an IG pic the other day with white, blue, purple, and gold - but of course I didn't bring my phone to my pc here - I will make the match on my IG post and then update on here after. Sometimes I am just SO smart. Anyways, here all the nails. I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat China Glaze Grass Is Lime Greener Essie Off Tropic China Glaze Treble Maker OPI My Favorite Ornament Dotting Tool Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat That is all for today! See you again soon!!

For Ben

Hey everyone! So, a couple of weeks back, whilst I was extremely sick (ok, laryngitis, so I didn't feel the worse, I just had no voice, a super sore throat, and painful coughing fits), I was working my way through the complete set of Sex & The City during my time off from work. One of the afternoons, when I was feeling particularly sorry for myself, I decided that I would go get Ben from his cage and make him watch copious amounts of episodes with me. The only problem was.. Ben had passed away :( The pain was so real. I think that when you have any type of pet that has been around you for years, and years, and years, it hurts so bad. Even if the pet isn't a conventional one. And even though Ben is like.. the size of a dog paw, the pain was immense. The next day, I was starting to feel a smidge better health-wise and had returned to work.. so that evening I decided to do some nail art. The nails were just.. perfect.. but I felt like something was missing - so I added
