Neutral Dots

Hey everyone!

Long time, no blog. I have just been soso bad about getting photos of my nails.. going to try to end the year on a high note. Fingers crossed!

I apologize for how drrrry my hands/cuticles look in these photos. You know how you know that your hands are dry, but you don't think they are that bad, and maybe they aren't, but a photo makes it look 50x worse? That.

I was able to snap up this set of 4 Butter London gem polishes awhile back.. very neutral, but it had a particular shade I had been eyeing.. but that is not what I have used here, naturally.




I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
Butter London Ta-ta!
Sally Hansen White On!
Dotting Tool
Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

That is all for today. I have mostly been wearing a wealth of polka dotted nail art.. there is something I want to re-visit from a couple of years back - will probably do that this weekend, and then keep going from there. Halloween is on the horizon.. so.. that will be a thing too. Take care!

Canada Day - Saran Wrap Style

I had said the other day that I would be using the Saran Wrap method again soon.. And I really did mean soon. I figure it was the perfect way to celebrate Canada Day (nail-wise) without over-doing it.. I take two pieces and ball them up.. You could use more or less.. But I figure two hands, two, er, balls. Yikes. Dry Marble Technique

Hey everyone! Yes.. Dry marble technique.. well.. technically I am water marbling, but allowing the polish to "dry" on the water.. then using it as a nail decal. Does that sound confusing? It might. But. I think this will be my next video. It is actually a lot of fun to do. And while I think this first attempt is grand, it could be better. I used: China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat Sally Hansen Bubblegum Pink Sally Hansen  Babe Blue Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow Water Dotting Tool Bowl Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat I will probably film a video for this within the next week - so I will post up that gem soon. Splatter Floral Nails

Hey everyone! Last night, after I did these nails and when I went to bed - I was quite pleased with my nails. When I woke up this morning, though, I wasn't overly crazy about them. I thought of a few things I could change so that I would really like them.. I am very tempted to take how I want them to look and recreate them before work.. I might just have to do it. Anyways! Really, there is nothing wrong with them.. I just sort of find them.. boring? Ah well!
