Skeleton Leaf

Hello everyone! Hope you're all having a great Thursday! I am going to show you a look I did last night, but, I didn't know how it would turn out, so I had only painted one hand, then removed it. BUT! I actually really do like this look. I used CG Midnight Mission (dark blue) and Diamond Cosmetics Blue Diamonds as well as OPI Alpine Snow . I was originally going to just use one blue, but I couldn't decide between these two gems, so why not use both?! The inspiration behind this mani was this photo.. I was trying to film a tutorial on a different look today.. The filming wasn't going too badly, but I messed up a bunch of times.. SO! I will give it another whirl either later today or maybe tomorrow - I really do want to start filming tutorials.. Plus I have a genius film editing brother that I want to put to good use. Anyways, that is all for now. Enjoy the rest of your day (: KarenD - Yay! Glad this could make you smile (: April - Thankies! You should to

Mustached

I really wanted to name this post something else (actually, a toss up between two different 'titles') but both of them are a bit.. Um, risque? That and I didn't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable!! So, I saw this design posted on SuPa Nails and immediately knew I had to do them. I love them!! Now, I didn't do the greatest of jobs.. I should have taken my time more, but oh well - here are the results.. I used OPI Alpine Snow as the base of all the nails, then Orly Mirror Mirror for the fellows with hair and finally, CG Liquid Leather for the 'staches. Look at how close my trap door is to being gone!! Well, half gone. It will be nice to be able to paint all of my nails again soon. It has been super annoying!! I suppose I should stop typing and go finish getting ready for my brother's hockey game. Why do I always pick some inopportune times to blog? From Innocent Mani : shortwidenails - I know you'll put that double ended stamper to good u

A Forgotten Mani

I was just going through my nail art folders.. Rearranging and such.. And came across this photo.. I totally forgot to post up these bad boys a few weeks ago.. When my nails were still long.. There is supposed to be a design on the pinky as well, but.. I cannot do anything with my trap door nail at the moment.. Although it is getting pretty close to being grown out!! I saw the design HERE and liked it enough to give it a whirl.. I hated it after painting and removed it.. Maybe that is why I forgot about it? Anyways! I just wanted to make a post as I feel like a chump lately.. Not posting.. Not painting my nails, etc. I now have a few days off, so hopefully I will make myself paint my nails. These slumps that I keep getting in to are really no fun!! Plus, I just put in an order for a few things.. Kind of excited! I will leave you with a cute photo of my boys.. And wish you to all have a GREAT day!! I promise to answer comments and such in my next post. I blame my lazy/slumpy

AFK

I feel like I have been AFK regarding blogging for a loooong time! Reason? I have been lazy.. Actually, that isn't really fair. I have actually been back at work quite a bit.. And after not being there for 6 weeks, a single shift weighs me down!! When I have a day off, I sleep for a least 10 hours (max has been set at 14 hours). I know, that is probably bad, but I was told that if I am tired, I should sleep/rest, so I am!! I just wanted to pop on here quickly to post some photos for Li Lian . She asked to see a swatch of CoverGirl's NailSlicks in Khaki - and, with that, your request has been filled!! A photo with flash and a photo without. I actually really do like this shade.. I thought it would be a bit darker, but it is more goldish than anything else. Both of these snaps are using three quick and thin coats of polish. The next time I use it, I am going thick. I was debating posting a photo of myself that I just took moments before because I actually (for some weird r

Innocent Mani

I would have to say that this is probably the most innocent looking mani I have ever seen. I always loved the konad stamp that I used for this look. I was so excited when I realized it was on one of the plates that I won.. I feel with that using that image over this green looks.. Well, innocent. I cannot think of anything else to say about it. I feel like a young girl about to have a tea party with her stuffed animals or something. You might also notice that I clipped off my longer nails. I went back to work this past weekend, and while none of my nails were broken, there were a few chips and I just think it will be easier to have my nails a wee bit shorter. Right now they are a bit shorter than I would like them to be, but I must admit that typing is MUCH EASIER! Now to the photos.. I used 2 coats of CG Re-Fresh Mint , then stamped with Konad special polish in white and sealed with Seche Vite. I am really pleased with Re-Fresh Mint, it is everything I thought it would be an
