Earrache My EYE!

Technically it IS a song title, but it is also hinting towards the eye.. And that is the basis for my opening of this post. I woke up this morning with an extremely swollen eye. At first, I was like 'sweet lord, pink eye!!' but after closer inspection by myself and my mother, we have decided that I most likely socked myself right in the eye last night. The swelling has gone down some, thankfully! Before, because of the swelling, when I blinked, my eyelashes were hitting my eyeball since the lid was so large it pushed them downwards - good times!! I finally did something that I am fairly pleased with! Take a look... Above is with flash, below is without.. I used OPI You Don't Know Jacques! Suede & ORLY Glitz . I did two thin coats of YDKJS, although I could have gotten away with one.. Then I took one of my art sponges and applied Glitz to the top half of my nails. After that I took my nail art brush and added the black stripes. Simple, but effective!!

Suicide

By The Raveonettes.. And no, do not worry, I am not contemplating my title! I just loooooove this song!!! I was catching up on all the episodes of Gossip Girl I missed.. And this song was played for a bit at the beginning of 'The Debarted' episode. It took me quite awhile to find, but I also stumbled across this awesome website that lists songs from TV shows/Commercials/Movies/Etc.. Pretty awesome! Anyways, check it out, I think it is amazing! It drops the b-bomb near the beginning, but they allow that word on TV now anyways, so it should be ok! Just some sub-par photos for all of you. I liked my first nails, they were inspired by the ever popular Illamasqua nails, you know the mani I am talking about! I used CG Heli-Yum, OPI Elephantastic Pink & CG Liquid Leather . I really liked the colour combo, minus the fact it reminded me of Valentine's Day - lots of compliments on it though. Super easy to do! Now on to my MultiColoured Fail! The photo that I saw of this look

Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing

By Chris Isaak.. There isn't too much to say about this song other than I think it is super awesome. I like when he sings kind of quick.. Good stuff!! St. Patrick's Day nails.. Yeah, I will post mine up! I still have just under an hour to appreciate this day.. I actually watched the video posted by Dollface22772 and figured I would try this water marbling thing out. I liked it.. I didn't do it to perfection.. I have a nail that just wouldn't accept the polish and some air bubbles, but it was a lot of fun and I have gotten a bunch of comments about them just because they are different. I snapped photos of both my left and right hand.. I do apologize about my cuticles though, my hands are very dry. Work has been vicious the last couple of nights via cleaning products and such.  Left  Right My right hand is worse off than my left, but still not overly horrible for a first timer, right? Haha.. Oh, I used OPI Alpine Snow, OPI Jade Is The New Black and OPI Green-Wic

The Garden

By Mirah. If you want a really interesting song, I suggest you take a listen to this gem.. It is only 2:11, so if you hate it, at least I only wasted 2 moments of your time (: Quuuuuick post! I just wanted to post something up so everyone didn't think I abandoned them! I don't even have an excuse.. I think I have just been lazy. Yesterday the mother and I went to do some errands (aka finish collecting gifts to give to the dad.. his birthday is.. today! woo!) One of the first stops was to the Chatters supply shop.. Which is always fun.. It was buy two products, get the third half off.. I of course ran over to the nail polish stand.. And saw they had the Up and Away collection there.. There were 3 I wanted badly, I only nabbed 2.. They didn't have Re-Fresh Mint *tear*.. Then instead of grabbing a third polish, I grabbed Redken Guts instead. Thhhheeeennnn.. One of the last stops was London Drugs.. I haven't been there in forever.. So of course I scuttled over to the

No Song Title

Yes, I am being extremely lazy today! But I just wanted to do a quick post before I decide to read, do art or game.. Or nap. Yeeeah.. LAZY FRIDAY! I went out to do a little birthday shopping (not for me.. that is next month!) but for my daaaad! But of course that means I have to do a bit of shopping for myself. After hitting up Sears, I decided to stop in at Dutch Growers.. Which I mentioned back in the day.. They are a konad supplier and after using konad (well, technically I used an Essence plate last night..) I decided to treat myself! Plus one of my friends has a birthday coming up and she told me that she likes using konad - yay! I did buy one plate for her (she likes the french tips only..) but I might have to keep it for myself.. and get her something else.. We'll see.   I bought plates M70 and M45.. Oh, and my camera really hates me today so I apologize for the terribad quality of photos.. I think I snapped about 20 photos of everything and just nothing was working. Bla

My Updated Collection *Pic Heavy*

People that I know have been asking me lately how many polishes I own, and I said I have no idea.. One person said it has to be at least 100, if not way more. I laughed at them. 100? YEAH! Right. I happened to have decided to move my bookshelf and polish desk.. I didn't like where I had moved my polish stuff - Not enough light there.. And my bookshelf doesn't really need a bunch of light, I could mostly name everything on there.. Anyways!                                                       Then, after I had them all safely put away.. I found two more babies on my desk.. So CG II and OPI Curry Up Don't Be Late are not pictured. THEN I tallied up the number.. including minis and the 2 I missed.. 95!! That guess of 100 was alarmingly close. One would think that this number could be startling, but from some of the numbers I have seen posted from other people, I am a polish n00b! This number excites me! I feel like an actual collector! Woo! Oh, and this also happened..
